I passed there yesterday it was smooth like you are running formula 1

Na to carry sacrifice beg motorists not to drive like Formular 1 into the lagoon.

And the government should do something about all those rickety yellow buses that are always overloaded and driving at snail speed on the bridge. Something is telling me they may be the major cause of accident on the bridge going forward.

The post is self explanatory, that was their beliefs. I haven't seen or heard about it being done since. They are so many religious beliefs and practices that are rubbish yet you don't call them out.
And how do you know I don't call rubbish religious beliefs out? And what if I want to start my calling out from this particular belief? angry

See anseer below

https://www.nairaland.com/5220466/truth-delta-tradition-forbids-married

I just glanced through the thread and saw this:

If the woman is married to an Isoko or Urhobo man and cheats, her children will fall sick and die. She also dies if she still refuses to confess.

I believe there are several women who would've cheated and none of their children died. I am willing to bet that if they do DNA for kids from 100 different married women in that Local government they won't get a 100 over 100 result.

The only reason why u will not see any woman come out to snarl at the superstitious believe is because if a woman comes out to admit infidelity/adultery she's already hanged herself in an African society.

Main account don chop sanko for spâmbot hand. That poorly designed piece of software doesn’t like it when it sees words from languages that are not English grin

Omo, job hunting rough everywhere but you just need to get lucky once and if you get the right opportunity, you’ll forget about all the pain eventually

There are lots of areas in this Lagos that their light is very stable.
Ijanikin is one of those areas, while Oto-Awori that is directly opposite is in total darkness...

U think all men that practice polygamy cater for the financial needs of their families?

Like u've never seen a man with two wives that can't even feed his family nor send his children to school ? I've seen enough of them bro.

In fact there are some irresponsible men that are monogamous and feed from their wife's pot that they never drop money for soup.

Say u responsible no mean say all men responsible o. There are guys out there that actually will jump at an opportunity for a woman to be paying their bills whether she keeps other men too. It's just our Africanism that's holding some of them and thought of "what will the society say?"
You are saying the truth...but those type of men are useless.

Normally its very bad if you cant provide for your one wife...so why should an idiot marry more?
