Please, I need your assistance everyone. I usually book Canadian tours on the Viator platform because you can make reservations and pay later and even has free cancellations. Now the site has serious global issue. Please suggests alternatively effective, user-friendly platforms like Viator for booking Canadian tours with reserve now and pay later and free cancellation feature/policy. Thank you! |

Hello my good Nairalander, good evening to you all. Please I need your opinion on this especially the experience guys. I booked ticket to Canada through Pearson airport, Toronto and many people are telling me I should have booked to follow Montreal. Am planning of changing my flight ✈️ to Montreal, I have already contacted the airline to change the route. I need your candid advises please. But yet to give me back on price difference. I would like to know if it's the right decision or not please . 1 Like |

XYZJAZZY: You’re absolutely right about that. It’s all about luck and how well you packaged your application. The POF matters too. Also, I want you to remember that the official exchange rate when you submitted your application in August 2022 was N450 to $1, and tickets prices were a bit fair then. 1 Like |

Topskid101: Hmmmm,32million and the VO stated insufficient fund,. At this junction we all need to realise that is not by having this huge amount in the account that matters, but been able to prove the source of the funds, Nigerians are not good at closed of mouth ,so most embassies now know how we get our pof and they doubt our statement of account with huge sums. E.g you stated you are working since 2016 with salary of 450k and your statement of account is 15M,VO will calculate and asked himself if for the past 3 yrs you have not spend a kobo from your salaries ni. Hmmm. God help us all. 2 Likes |

Topskid101: Just they pray make Lagos no handle ur file…. Most passport got visa refused from Lagos Vo lately, they check thoroughly much more than Nairobi… that Nairobi Vo nice to Nigerians. If Lagos handle the visa they know ur POF is liking worked on. |

XYZJAZZY: Based on your previous post, I see you have a travel history to the UK and you are an experienced traveler. Then, I see no reason why you would go via Montreal if Toronto is your destination, unless your intention is to seek asylum. You can arrive in Canada via any airport with proof of your visit, such as hotel bookings, your funds, and your plan for the trip. 1 Like |

benjijosh: You should contact VFS for confirmation of submission of biometrics and raise a webform to Upload it ASAP. Upload as much proof of submission as possible and query why the message shows on your application when you have biometrics number and expiry |

[From Toronto To Ottawa](https://travelsfaq.com/journeying-from-toronto-to-ottawa-a-travelers-guide/) Starting in Toronto, Canada’s largest city pulsates with an energy that’s both cosmopolitan and uniquely Canadian. Located at the heart of this bustling metropolis is Toronto Union Station, a key hub for travelers embarking on their journey eastward. It’s a place where skyscrapers stretch towards the sky, each one a testament to modern innovation, and where cultural districts buzz with the life brought forth by global cuisines, cutting-edge art, and vibrant street life. Here, travelers can immerse themselves in a metropolis that thrives on diversity, offering everything from high-end shopping districts to sprawling green spaces where the urban landscape gives way to serene lakeside vistas. The journey from Toronto to Ottawa, especially when opting for trains from Toronto, is more than just a transition from one city to another; it’s a passage through Ontario’s changing landscapes. |

Topskid101: Their bank statements had a balance of 32 million naira (about CAD$ 33000), but their applications were still refused. This is serious. Anyway, the way visa applications are being packaged matters too. |

mamawa123:From little knowledge IRCC doesn't look at the closing balance..they always try to look more on the inflow and outflow of money and the source especially if the account is accessible to the said owner! I know of a family friend that uses a closing balance of #2.5m in 2022 and he was granted visa |
