That they don't get arrested does not mean that they can't be. They are entirely two different issues.
Bloggers even mention names but most have not gotten arrested because people involved have decided not to have their time.
The ones that mention names directly get arrested.
Ibiyeome arrested Kemi
Fashola arrested 2 bloggers
Eniola Badmus arrested a bloger.
Mercy Chinwo arrested someone too.
They are plenty, you get arrested if you mention names directly.

This lawyer is the major problem of Chioma. The guy has always been looking for a case to shoot himself to limelight to attract customers.

Chioma apologised, but this lawyer retracted it, then see where we are now.
The guy want to be a celebrity lawyer. Listening to his arguments most times, this one will hardly win a case. I listened to how he was trying to defend chioma on Arise TV last year, I nodded my head. Nothing go come out for this guy matter concerning Chioma.

This case alone he involved Falana shows this guy mixed this matter with hatred and grudge. That's not quality of a lawyer.

He is better than Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer

Is it the tomato paste they said had sugar added to it?

I just hope this Chief Eric will not have this case turned against him. There should have been a better way to handle the case. Because the more people want to know about the case, the more the sugar in his tomato paste statement will spread.

You are ignorant about the facts of the case. Chioma Okoli mistook a tomato mix product for of a tomato puree. A tomato mix has sugar has one of its ingredient fully approved by NAFDAC.

Quit the idleness and vain entertainment of the social media, go work hard to build a formidable business like Erisco foods first then when your sweat and hardwork comes under attack, let's see what you will do. Talk is cheap.

Erisco did the right thing by taking the lawful and legal route instead of taking the laws into his own hands, all these media escalation doesn't help the lady.

What her lawyer is alleging above is a civil case where her lawyer is demanding money while the client he claims to be defending is facing a serious criminal case. In my opinion, the strategy is incoherent and seems that he is not ready for reconciliation. I believe that it's only reconciliation and amicable resolution that can help that lady. I pray she comes to that reality soon enough.

You see say sense you no get? As a business owner that has build a brand for long, should we teach him how to manage criticism. How many has Airpeace sued over criticism that is not true, A person complained online that Airpeace planes does not have AC while flying which even a mad man knows it's not true but Airpeace ignored. Has that make Airpeace not to be Airpeace? I know that ur brain is faulty but don't bring it here

Thank you jare. Your own no go spoil. Sugar is usually added to tomato paste to reduce its acidity and not to give it a sweet taste. Adding a little quantity of sugar as expected and recommended is supposed to only alter the taste of the tomato paste a little and not really be conspicuous to the extent that a woman will be complaining about it.
They were supposed to just improve on the quantity being added (if that was the case), afterall there are usually recalls in the USA if there is anything wrong with some batches which shows that no company is above mistakes.

Chioma should have reported the matter to the appropriate authority rather than using her tongue as a laboratory and concluding that sugar was much. Furthermore, she had the option of buying another brand. Erisco products are fully approved by SON and NAFDAC. I believe if Chioma escapes paying N5b she will never bad mouth any product on social media again in the name of product review

The law applies logic and facts . If someone says my father is a thief, without calling his name, the fact is I have a father who is the accused in the statement. Chioma had a lawyer whom she has replaced with another, is that true? The new lawyer said to be a quack by Erisco Chief can sue and be sued. The matter is for the law to adjudicate anyway.

You might be right but I think the example of father is quite different from this scenario. The video I watch the man said Chioma dropped her lawyer that was advising her right and she is listening to a fake lawyer, a charge and bail lawyer that's looking for a way of complicating her problem.

Now it's not the position of the lawyer to admit he is the fake lawyer but Erisco should be called to point out who is the fake lawyer .....!

Reasoning is very far from you. What makes a review a criminal case and defamation of character of her lawyer a civil case? Are you okay?

I beg to differ, with this litigation both parties can reach a compromise to settle the two legal case out of court.

She and her Lawyer asked for it out of greed. Erisco asked for a written apology, she wrote it and was released.
The Lawyer want them to make money off the man by asking her to go back online and withdraw the apology to resume the issue. She did then boasted online that she has successfully destroyed the man's business, and that's how the matter escalated.
She asked for it

Reading through the comments made me realize as a nation we deserve every ounce of suffering, if the common man will support and justify clear oppression by the rich.

There is nothing lawful and legal in using the Police to oppress the masses. If Nigeria were to be a civilized country, that mugu who calls himself Erisco would been facing a class action by now.
