Please I need y’all opinion on this‼️‼️
Does any of these PWM charge controller good for charging LiFePO4 battery?
Or any other suggestions but not MPPT abeg because man no guide 😂😂😂
Am using the one in the middle for lithium ion battery. Check the manual and set it for lifepo4 battery

Do you think this is more efficient than Thermocool Genpal series?
I can't really tell because I've not used Thermocool Genpal before.
Even the energy saving Lg ACs we're talking about, there are a lot of fake ones in the markets.
You may be surprised to see a huge energy consumption when you put it to use.

Batteries are doing great so far.
I have done upto 90% DOD with them batteries.
Last time I checked, they had like 35, 46, 35, 60 cycles respectively.
They are expected to reach the 6000 cycles as advertised.

6000 cycles? Really? I'm a bit doubtful oh, lol but then again what do I know.
Congratulations sha.

The one in the middle has LFP profile. As the seller to send you manual to double confirm..

I have one installed for more than 3 years get the 60A one

The LG Dual Inverter does not have this display, but is can be chilling @ 16°C with less than 600w power depending on the AC capacity and the ambient temperature.
From my battery monitor, after turning off the pv input, my 1.5hp dual inverter AC was turned on @ 16°C with the existing loads of 206w at 4:06pm. The power consumption rises to 1,057w at 4:11pm before dropping to 460w at 4:18pm maintaining the cooling.
The consumption used to be higher than this when the ambient temperature is higher. Apart from the actual power consumption of the AC, the ambient temperature also affect the consumption.

Thanks for this. So essentially, a 1.5 HP LG Dual Inverter AC coasts at around ~300W after the initial startup.

Pretty impressive.

Thank you for your response.

I'm currently using the 570w version of Longi (5 pieces) and wants to add another set (of 5 pieces), but the seller only have the 580w available and it's in Abuja. So he offered them to me @155k/1 down to Lagos but I'm thinking of getting the Jinko 625w from Fuoani but wanted to know if it's a good move and if the Jinko panels actually outperforms the Longi as people claim.

mctfopt:

I've used Longi. The 450w version. Performance was superb and on par with Jinko.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ferdiwar: 10:18pm On Apr 10
For mine, the stated real power is 5000w and the apparent power is 5500va.

Why does Deye use KW and not KVA?

What is the real KVA of these KW inverters?

In some scenarios yes it can.
Some inverters don't accept grounding DC and AC Circuits to the same rods. They will trigger error of current leak and that's gonna shut down the output of the inverter.
I have come to realize that the best practice of grounding Hybrid Inverters is to drive down two rods at the same spot like 15cm apart 10ft below earth surface. Use one for DC circuits and one for AC circuits.
Now before them earth professionals come at me for this. It's been approved by NEC.
It has also recently saved my ass just last week here ooo.

Finished installation and inverter started tripping at Error F23 (Deye 8kw) until I separated the AC Earth Rod and buried another earth rod same location and used it as DC earth rod.
this earthing matter don de take different shape oo. E b like we go ooen anoda thread or if anyone has a good link to a resourceful material it will be well appreciated. Some say multiple earth rods spaced apart.others will say make ur rod 12ft long. The wahala too much

I would like to know if anyone on this forum has installed wind turbine....... I want to compliment it with my solar system at home

I heard the vertical axis wind turbine is better if you do not live at a very windy environment.... but i would love a first hand experience review and recommendation

What is the real KVA of these KW inverters?

Watts to kVA Calculation
The apparent power S in kilovolt-amps (kVA) is equal to the real power P in watts (W), divided by 1000 times the power factor PF:

S(kVA) = P(W) / (1000 × PF)

For example, let’s convert 6200 watts to kVA given a power factor of 0.85.

S(kVA) = 6200 W/ (1,000 × 0.85) = 7.294117 kVA

Is 120A BMS not too much for 105Ah battery?
Considering the BMS will make it draw amps greater than the battery.

Which BMS is used, JK or JBD?

The 60a of the middle one shown, says it is lithium compatible in the manual, although I am yet to test it.

However, I used it for an experimental connection and was surprised to see it had a functioning over current protection. Ideally a PWM self destructs once you cross it's rated max input current rating.

Considering the BMS will make it draw amps greater than the battery.

Having a 120A BMS does not mean BMS will draw 120A from Batteries, it only means you have enough capacity and headroom. which means your BMS will run cooler and last longer.
Just like having a 5KW inverter to run only a Fan or charge your phone, it does mean your inverter will push 5KW to the fan. or refrigerator.

The higher the BMS capacity the better, the 105AH Batteries can deliver up to 2C which is 210A... this allows for Surge.
Just like Inverters have 2X surge rating.

Most users won't charge and discharge at more than 30A continuous, and up to 80A burst.

Drawing 120A from a 105AH Capacity means the backup time will be around 50 Minutes, not sure people will do that.

They have low-frequency inverter gathering dust, they want to sell!

He should know that in 2024, most ACs, and Microwave now use a new technology that works well with high-frequency inverters.
