Swimming or anything that has to do with water was a no-no for me. I don't like water-bodies at all; water scares me easily. I voluntarily declined going on a field trip during NYSC cos I heard we will visit one ancient crocodile shrine as part of our visit to the major river in the town. I no dey do wetin pass my power.

One day, I summoned courage to go and learn how to swim

Went to Baft Club in Festac to meet with the "Coach"

Told me the training will be in the morning, ad people use the pool from 12.

And then i saw my fellow students; Children of 5, 8, 10....? How can I be learning with these ones naa? My Pride said "No".
