Bathing early has nothing to do with odour. In fact, in hospitals, adult patients are not required to have a bath everyday. Some only get baths twice a week. So, forget using her bathing culture against her.

Since she works from home, she probably wouldn't need more than a shower a day -- does not really matter what time of day she takes it. Additionally, making sure to wear clean clothes is another way to combat BO of most kinds. Using the right laundry detergent, knowing to combat mildew when it shows up, etc. all necessary. .

But more importantly,that crying leads me to believe that she may not be doing well emotionally, and emotional problems tend to lead to such issues. So, OP, can you describe --- not make excuses for -- your wife's emotional health? Is she happy (genuinely) or frustrated a lot of the times,maybe even anxious or does she seem to be more depressed and what not?

Ofcourse, all of this assumes the smell is in fact from BO problems and maybe even mildew issues.

To the op: I agree with Kobo's assertions.

From your write up it seems this sudden odour is a recent occurrence. So I suspect she might be depressed or having other emotional issues. Try and seat her down and find out what the problem is.

P/S - I really pity you sha. I cannot stand people with terrible body odours or offensive smells. Imagine living with such person in the same house or room, just the thought of it makes me want to puke. Spits in disgust.

It's not about bathing early in the morning, it's about the person's health/body condition.

There are peeps that don't bath early ,yet, no offensive body odor from them.

There are peeps with little sweat here and there , you won't perceive any body other.

..and there are peeps with little sweat and you perceive offensive smell around them.

Another Area of concern is our wears. The cloths we put on, there are some of them that doesn't go well with the body sweat due to the kind of fabrics they are made of.

This is where A Good body Deodorant is needed.

Body deodorants helps to neutralize those enzymes that make body sweat to have offensive odor. My brother,there are deodorants you put on, even if you no baff for the whole day, as long as say, you no shot for body. No matter how you sweat reach, you wouldn't perceive any body odor.

My brother, na one of the secret of smelling good be this. No body wey no get body smell, we just have to manage it well.

After Evening bath, put on your roll on. No matter how you take sweat, no smells. Nivea roll on products good.

I wil stil repeat wt I said so dt she knows she needs to shower asap nd she does it without any fuse. she too does same to me and I DNT get offended

I DNT know the style you both adopt in communicatin but a marriage as old as 7yrs is not really a new marriage. at dis stage u both have reach, it ought to be an open minded style of talking to each oda. seems like most of d time before you talk to her, you have to rehearse ur talk in ur head , edit nd re-edit it before u voice it out to her so she no go vex.

she definitely cnt be 20yrs or 24yrs probably in her 30's . she using tears to water down wt affect ls her is not wise. dt is emotional blackmail.

d undiluted truth be say na only she knows the cause of the bad smell. A person dt truly needs help won't cry. She is not ready to help herself.

I am married to a wonderful woman indeed, beautiful in and out and I have no regrets.

However recently I noticed strange body odour from her, the first day I came in and observed mild strange smell, without being malicious I said just blatantly said "what is smelling in this house" , while trying to check around I moved closed to the chair she was sitting and it became stronger then I told her maybe she needed to bath because I noticed she hasn't.

She cried heavily saying I now refer to her as a smelling wife. I begged her that that wasn't my intention, I observed and spoke on what could be done. That issue passed.

But I still perceives it from her, she doesn't bath early most times because she works remotely and she wakes up seeing piled work so she starts working immediately on her laptop.

Every marriage has issues I know, one of her's is that she doesn't like correction she sees it as if one is trying to make her inferior.

Please how can I correct her to bath early no matter the work.

Please I need honest counsel and not abuse, if you are not married please don't respond to this, thank you.
