Guys you don't know that vicinity called EKPOMA..it's another country, with different behavioral pattern. That's the only place I had ever seen a policeman with dreads and Tats... Not to exclude the AUCHI-EKPOMA road ...

While I schooled there, the police walk into ur room 6a.m to harass you confidently, they break doors, jump over fences, harass you on the streets... That was 8yrs ago. Now after the end sars pandemonium I thought police-civilian approach would have been more civilized but I can see there's a repetition of events .

honestly, i pity the Nigeria police force, they are poorly paid, have no training or regular retraining, many don't even have any education, faulty recruitment process that ends up giving police uniforms to pickpockets, cult members, and criminals, and yet the educated public expects them to behave rationally.
these police officers are regularly and daily confronted with a growing people of enlightened,educated, and enlightened public and when this happens, it shows the great quality drop in our police force

The same threat I received at marina around UBA HQ in February 2020, they threatened to kill me and dump me in the Lagos lagoon just because I refused to pay bribe, you arrested me and pushed me into your korope from lekki seconds toll gate( conservation center) from 11 pm and waited at marina for 1 hrs then proceed to dump me at yaba by 4 am... Wetin I do ...because you asked for my phone and I refused and you slapped me and after checking my phone you seized it and handcuffed me for no reason cus you obviously saw nothing to hold against me and just because I refused then Una decide to do whatever pleases you guys ... I would never forget ,one day na one day... God go treat una fvck up

To me, from what I have seen and encountered with police,

Anytime am driving or being driven and I sight police, immidiately I set my phone on record first before conversation turn south then we consider video.

Last time I traveled by road through Lagos to East.
Police gave us the shock of our life that we had to beg them to release our car key with 15k

What was the issue, that the car is stollen car, a car that was just sent from u.s.. everything intact,, that chases number did not match with a sticker on the door side that has different tag.. chases number was all over the Engine, dashboard, drivers side mirror and door.

Police in Nigeria is a threat itself to civilian
