Many of these testimonies in churches are not necessary, honestly.

In a world where many people think that God doesn't exist, testimonies are very necessary. It helps to prove that God actually exists and solves our problems. Also, testimony builds people's faith.

That's why in some ministries and churches they investigate your claims before giving you the platform to come out and testify. Ebuka Obi of Zion Ministry does that. He will even integrate you while you are sharing the testimony to be sure you are not faking it.

It is true that the lady accused of giving a fake testimony by Dunamis actually graduated from NOUN.

Here is her name (Anyim Vera) on the graduation list: 2262. It's worthy to note that the wrongly accused lady is also a serving police officer

Stage fright can lead to saying the wrong thing or speaking in front of an audience, like saying BSc in Law.

While Members of Dunamis church are currently trooping to her Facebook page to apologise other netizen have advised her to terminate her membership of the church.

What manner of pastor is this biko

Honestly, I watched that testimony time and I really pitied that lady. That was a global embarrassment because a lot of people are usually tuned to dunamis programs from every part of the world whether they are members or not.
Like I told my daughter whom I watched it with, pastor Enenche didn't do well at all. Even if he needed to prove a point, he should have allowed her, then later on come on the altar at the end of testimony time and just make a statement that people should not lie on the altar and all that without making reference to her.
That blunder he committed is enough to make her depressed or even suicidal. It takes a lot of guts to give a testimony in a massive congregation like that. And secondly, even though I am not holding brief for her spoken English, but most times, stage fright can turn one's grammar upside down, no one is perfect.
This is the reason most people don't like giving testimonies, because of embarrassment and at times again members are practically cajoled to give testimonies so as to appreciate what God has done and so that others could strengthen their faith through it.
But with this embarrassment, a lot of people will refrain from giving testimonies.
I can imagine the embarrassment.
Not to talk of how her family members, friends and colleagues will be mocking her.
Honestly pastor Enenche didn't do well, but he is a human being.
This graduation picture I have seen posted on social media just proved she actually went to the school and graduated. But like most people have said, she should improve herself because if she speaks that type of English in front of a judge, she will be thrown out of the court.
But again at a point I heard her taking corrections and she admitted it was LLB when pastor Enenche was trying to correct her.
She may have actually forgotten.
Nobody is perfect.
Though Like I said she should improve on herself

And again, she may have just gone to that school to become a graduate to prove a point that she has a certificate, not necessarily because she wants to practice with it

The OP is high on oncolos. He is shamelessly excusing a graduate of law for having such a bad English and failing to know the kind of degree associated with law. My 13yrs old daughter can't fall for stage fright in such a degrading manner

Everyone is different. I have seen geniuses falling apart on the stage.
The pastor called her a liar which she wasn't. She probably had a poor elementary school, hence the poor grammar.

Epistasis:
Pastor Eneche was not wrong in any way. A graduate of law who couldn't make a distinction between LLB and BSC, that's terrible. You people were the one that made mockery of Dunamis few ago, accusing the church of giving false healing testimony.

Half baked graduates everywhere, tueeeh!!!!

How's she half-baked? Cos she said Bsc in Law?
Check the video again, the pastor actually threw the words at her and she was probably confused.
She never said she was the best in her class or the most intelligent.
And half-baked or not she still graduated and your Pastor was wrong.

She deserves an apology. But there is nothing like BSc in law so the pastor is also not wrong. The evidence will settle this matter and the pastor will apologize no doubt. Mistakes do happen

She should change her church. If she was a rich member, the pastor wouldn't dare embarrass her like that. He sized her up and concluded she is a nobody. That pastor is so arrogant and class conscious.

Close your dirty mouth.
She should blame herself for misleading the congregation.

A graduate in law should know what her degree is after spending five years in the University.
Has nothing to do with the institution - NOUN , which some people have their reservations about.
She brought the embarrassment upon herself.
I don't blame Pastor ENECHE on this.
She should apologize for giving wrong testimony and should correct herself.

Lols

Yes, she brought the embarrassment on herself. There are many so-called educated people like herself who are proper mor0ns..grin

There's no excuse for not knowing your own degree. Even if you mistakenly mention something different, one should be able to immediately correct it as even you would realize you've said nonsense (that's if one is aware) and it's glaring that the woman isn't aware saying she has "BSc in Law" is total nonsense.

Yet, the god of man is too arrogant. Zero courtesy. He has no sense of self and environment and no single respect for a fellow human (not like I blame him. Na d way goat stand for market dem dey take price am. And the members of the church are worse than goats in his eyes, less than shhiit and he feels he can treat them however he likes),. My neighbor suspects it's a ploy put up to make people believe the testimonies from said church are always factual as the MoG already has many crazy unbelievable testimonies that were never debunked. But me thinks he's either high on power or some real good "goods" wink

Abeg, me too lazy to dey bother. I just got to hear the matter this morning from a neighbor and I think that arrogant pastor needs apologize since it's now proven that her testimony is factual.

Those encouraging the Lady to sue the Church/ MoG want her to end her fake legal career in deep jail. The man of God correctly discerned her fakeness.

Even if she actually appears on the Graduation List, it must have been contrived. How can a graduate of Law forget her degree class? How can she so forget that she mentioned BSc, not even BA? This suggests she never understood the University system and most likely procured the degree, if any!

Any attempt to drag the issue will simply lay bare all that is hidden! God does not always condone lies propagated on His Altar!

Your mumu never do as the pastor can do no wrong

Stone03:

You can as well invite her to start worshipping in your own church. If the Pastor had kept quiet over that, your type will be among the first to come on social media against Dunamis Church for accomodating fake testimonies.

If pastor Enenche is class-centered he wouldn't be doing what he is doing. Go and watch the videos of his services and see so many times he shredded tears over people's predicaments and dirty bedridden patients brought to him he went as far as hugging them passionately in a bid to transfer the healing power of God to them.

Don't come to the social media to discuss anything church or pastors because you are not one of us

Everyone is different,
A 13 Year old in Britain got a first class degree in mathematics
Should we use the girl in Britain as a yardstick to gauge 13 year olds around the world.??

You can see from the pictures that she is a advanced in age and a police officer, who went back to school,
You can't compare her with a fresh law graduate from a university who moved from secondary school straight to uni
Thank you ....you got exactly what's going on ...She's not going to be fluent in English all of a Sudden simply because of Studying law

Re: Dunamis Church 'Fake Testimony': Anyim Vera Deserves An Apology by Originalsly: 10:06am On Apr 15
I don't understand why the Pastor is wrong to say the testimony is a lie. When asked what degree ... she said "Bsc ..... Bsc in law". Why would he think it was a mistake when she repeated Bsc ?" Knowing your graduate degree is like knowing your name ... would stage fright make you mistakenly give another name instead of your own?... twice? Why wouldn't the pastor not think she is a liar and send her back to her seat? After all .... she came to the altar on her own.

If it is true she is a graduate ... then why the big blunder? As a Christian one has to think her motive for going to the altar was not to testify but to advertise .... advertise herself to men .... to attract a husband ... maybe a sugar daddy. After all .... she is a Police .... and single ... and we know the present economic situation. Maybe it was God's way of dealing with her for using His name to promote herself.
