Like it or not, if the MOG had let that woman go with her BSc in law talk, Paul Eneche would have been accused of planting a fake testifier. Something close to this nearly ruined a somewhat popular/big church somewhere around Ojodu. I don't know whether it's madness or not, but some will purposely come out to say what God did not do, or blatantly make crazy exaggerations, all to what end?? I have seen someone come out to testify about being cured of HIV/AIDS (nobody cured, paid, or sent this woman), only for her to die a few months after.

Like it or not, if you come to ruin the credibility of my institution, I will do something worse than this without apology to anyone!

By the way, this is an opportunity for NOUN as an institution to sit up and make amends. Most of the NOUN handouts and books I have come across online meet world-class standards. However, the recruitment process is too poor. There is no gain in awarding a Law degree to someone who may never be able to defend a client before a judge. What's the point, really?

Too many unworthy degree holders have watered down the credibility and potential of many NOUN graduates.
Not only noun sir. Most students graduating from the university now a days, don't even know how to spell. Some don't even know how to read or write. I have encountered a lot of them, and you begin to wonder, how were this people able to pass their exams?

The man didn't act Christ-like a bit and if I didn't watch the video, I would have doubted such happened. It goes to show the level of classism that has infiltrated the church.

While it is shameful a graduate doesn't speak well or know the degree awarded to her, she already stated her foundation was poor. You learn grammar/languages easily in your formative years. Subsequently it becomes a struggle. Hence the saying "catch them young". He should have simply told her the correct term and if you watched the video, before the microphone was put to her mouth, she said LLB. Maybe stage fright, she switched to the popular BSc and went back to LLB when he mentioned it.

I bet she had the longest walk of her life back to her seat. Maybe a pastor in a neighbourhood church wouldn't have noticed if she said B.Ed. Sadly she went to a big church where the head pastor dresses like a medieval magician.

That woman in a sane country cannot be a graduate. But the pastor was wrong to disgrace her in public

True but we have intelligent Professors who don't speak very good English. One's background matters. The problem is mainly with our elementary education especially the public schools outside urban centres.

A lawyer should communicate in good English nonetheless.

Gibberish I stand with Paul Eneche on this one how can a full LLB degree holder not be able to answer a simple question as regards the degree she obtained all this so called educated illiterates are the major problem we have as a nation tomorrow she would be giving one appointment before you know she will steal billions and later say am sorry it was a mistake

If you had watched a video of the pastor consenting to a BSC in law, you would still criticize him so no big deal

The woman may not have gone to study Law with the intention to practice but to gain promotion at her place of work

There is Bachelor of science in law (BSL) or BSc in law. It is a course intended for those who actually do not want to settle as a lawyer but gain some legal education. They do not go to law school.

They want to trend.
But one reality I noticed is that full time students who went to Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics don't take NOUN as serious graduates cheesy
Imagine a lawyer from NOUN defending you in court, he will plead guilty like Bobrisky on your behalfcheesy

Which apology is needed? Who took her there? The reality is, this reflects the quality of products from NOUN. It's no surprise that the Nigerian Law School was hesitant to admit their underprepared graduates.

She disgrace herself. Bsc in Law, she doesn’t sound like a graduate, if a Pastor can knock her out with a incoherence word, how is going to defend her clients in court of law where complex logic is put into test

True. But what about those attending NOUN with the intention of getting a good job? Should we ruin those lives because others just want to graduate and get promotions? Institutional branding is key. What affects one, affects all.

The Church has explained and apologised on behalf of the Pastor. According to their press release, the Pastor has contacted her.
There was no apology there, instead they were only making excuses to ascertain that the pastor was not wrong.

I dont understand why he had to apologise for another person's error! NOUN should apologise on behalf of their half baked graduate !

I thought she graduated in both character and learning!!
