One of the biggest achievements of Tinubu's 1 year in office!

He has done what no other president in Nigeria's history could do grin

Imagine the sleepless nights it took to get this done grin

Tinubu supporters should go and celebrate this "landmark achievement"

Congratulations!

What a momentous achievement

It won't stop

Your cert will still read NOUN

Your comments reek of inferiority complex. Deal with your mentality. Non-graduates are employing your likes all over Nigeria, you think you're making sense by talking down on the largest university in your country... You lack common sense. 🥴

This is highly unnecessary. Besides, before one finishes a course in that school, age will no longer be by ones side

Do you mean NOUN don’t admit anyone under the age of 26?

No way

Most of them are over age

Succinctly Read the news again and you will see where it is stated that it's for only those within the NYSC age bracket.

Are you a NOUN student?

The NOUN students have been rejoicing since and their respective school VCs already informed them about this 2 days ago and they love it.

Don't mind these people saying trash. They love the discrimination and that's a failure's perspective.

They feel good by looking down on others and they don't like the level playing field.

Before Tinubu, were you not poor? You’ll still be poor in the next 8 years and still be shedding tears bitterly.

Go and hustle. Your mates are making it, stop wasting your time on Nairaland finding threads to be bitter about.

This thread is about NOUN students mobilizing for NYSC, it is a great news to those students. Let them celebrate in peace and you can choose to cry and gnash teeth. It is your right!

he shall remain poor

President Tinubu, just direct the scrapping of that fraudulent scheme called NYSC... It has run its course.

Let people graduate and face their careers squarely. Let's quit compelling them to partake in a clearly dumb and fake scheme to unite a nation that has kept dividing along religious and ethnic lines for decades now.

If NYSC must continue, it should be fully voluntary. The certificate should no longer be a prerequisite for government jobs and political appointments.
So, he is no longer druggie to you? You are now appealing to President Tinubu. Thought you people said his certificate were questionable. Now he is making people happy. The way those NOUN graduates will vote for Tinubu in 2027 will surprise many of you. Even Obi will dump all of you online haters because of Tinubu's charisma. Who know like good thing?

Education is changing and we really need more Nigerians getting accessible education. That's what NOUN does. NOUN allows people pace their education while doing other things in life. Their model is also good for the jobless Nigerian youths who rush education without other skills. Also, people who can't afford the high fees of hostel, transportation and other expenses can access education through open university. When COVID came, you could see that NOUN was ahead of its time. We are still stuck in the old times of going to brick and mortar schools while the world is changing in front of us. There's no way tomorrow's workforce will not be adapted to hybrid, a concept NOUN had been running for years. We need education to be accessible and government can help further with infrastructure.

I hope with this directives from the pregnancy, many of us wouldn't have to go through this special remedial again but straight to BAR PART II.

I know how much time and resources some of my mates spent during their remedial before getting into BAR PART II.

I can't wait to be certified as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Nigeria Law School, see you soon with my LLB (HON) LAW.

PROUD NOUNITE.

Don’t you think this is worth celebrating in your camp since the only thing this government has brought on Nigerians is suffering since they came to office?
I'm a critic of APC government, but my question is that were you not poor before Tinubu took over and you will probably continue to be poor because instead of you to join your mate in the outside world hustling, you are here wailing and complaining over a man that is doing his job jejely.

I may not like Baba Tinubu, but he's the first Nigeria president who doesn't complain or condemn his predecessor over misuse of power and treasury instead he rather focused on how he can be acceptable in the eyes of his citizen.

The problem of Naira started right from the Buhari's tenure but it's so painful that majority of Nigerians have short memory, they quickly forget the past and shift the blame on that old man.

It's different..... If they want to be a full university no one is against it... NOUN foundation then was for adult...
Their entry level criteria is different from other main universities unless they have changed...
If Noun follow good , Nigeria education now opens to online education which is great...

Same with Polytechnic
If they want equality all Tertiary should use same mode of admission....
Everyone should be ready to score the minimum of 200 in Jamb and the waec credits

santaclaws:

Wow... This is historic! The nonsensical discrimination promoted by the elimination of certain graduates from the scheme will now come to an end.

UNISA is South Africa's largest institution, which is also based on open & distance learning like NOUN and it is always ranked high in the country, but here in Nigeria, we must defecate on our own things and praise that of others.

Congrats to NOUN students.

Tinubu also direct law schools to admit NOUN graduates.

Nigeria Law school now admits Noun graduates. The 1st batch were admitted in 2020 but had to start from Bar part 1.

Hopefully they will be placed at par with their contemporaries from other universities.

And you too would call yourself a full-time graduate tomorrow. shouldn't you know it only applies to those who fall within the age bracket? 😏

Remember NOUN students don't bribe lecturers like those of you in conventional universities. They don't even know who marks their scripts.

If you're intelligent, you would know that NOUN wasn't intended for teenagers. They're not supposed to go for Service but I think the whole thing is now bastardized.
