Goalnaldo:on the sixth day war...there was a time israel bought three bombers secretly because there was a weapon embargo on the middle east countries during the war. On the bombers way to israel, one of the B-17 bombers dropped bombs in cairo surprising the Egyptians who thought they were immune to such attacks and so left their capital undefended (Egyptian attacks on Israeli civilian targets stopped after this). / That's the beauty of serious nations in arms race. No country is 100% attack proof. It will put them back to the drawing table to ascertain what went wrong and apply the necessary fix. Other countries like China, Russia, etc will start upgrading their systems too. Why do you think there are periodic updates in your phone apps? New bugs, new patches/fixes, new updates.
