Not resolved yet. Planning to get an MPPT CC

So the problem is the charge controller maybe I also have to do the same then.... And get MPPT

Since Wednesday the dollar has started increasing again at BDC.
How long will EFCC continue crackdown on manipulator's platform?
I was just hoping and praying that the low exchange rate should be sustained. Our porous system is very unpredictable. A lot of people are looking for a little opportunity to strike. They don't even care about the effects and the suffering of the masses. Commercial banks officials are equally part of the system manipulation.
We have a LONG ROAD to cross.
It's very unfortunate.

I recommended the 80A for 24V system as this is CC only.
I understood you Boss. I was thinking he could still get better performance for the 12v system he's projecting if he can change the 60a CC to 80a CC and reduce the pv capacity to about 1200w
1.5kva 12v inverter max would have been a better option for him.
From my observation, he's on tide budget.

Weldone but are you sure all these appliances can be powered concurrently on a 8kw Deye though? 8 units of 1.5hp and heater alone seem to exceed 8kw already unless you were sure that they all won't be powered concurrently otherwise you may need another Deye in parallel

The Deye 8K at PF:1 guzzled all the listed loads.

SmartLoad function turns the heavy loads off at certain SOC to save your battery till day break and turns them on when your SOC reaches 100% again. Time of Use is another very useful function of Deye.

na untop one 50kw inverter you wan mount 74KWp ? i thought 65kw was the max array size for that inverter? omo solarco gave me price for that high voltage battery (the complete 60kwh) cold catch me...

At NOTC and other environmental constrains, I will be fully covered. That's the idea here.

Please can you share your Deye plug? Thanks. Awesome job

I already mentioned that SolarCo is a reliable partner. Fadi is a cool dude, I have known him since the day he set his foot on Nigerian soil.

So you can strike deals with them, no issues.

Please can you confirm if the 5kw has the smart load function as I can't seem to figure it out.

Oh yes it does. But let me warn: Please seek a professional for your Deye installations, the Inverter is very sensitive to unclean electricity like ESD, Current Leakages, Wrong Connections. ETC

Bros abeg can you explain this smart load function a little more. How does it work with respect to heavy loads. Does the smart load help the battery cope better with all these resistive appliances I'm seeing here

Do you have a Deye Inverter?, if yes, consult your manual, or DM me for directions.

Dam5reey and Penuelseun advised you to go for the 24v system because of the set-up list you posted. The advice wasn't necessarily for your stated loads.
2.5kw inverter and 1400w pv were also designated for the 24v system and that was the reason they told you to change the CC from 60a to 80a and continue with the 24v system at once.
If you've not bought those items yet and you intend to reduce the cost as you clearly stated, then go for 2 pcs of 580w Jinko or Longi pv, 1.5kw hybrid inverter and 12v 160ah lfp.
This can comfortably take care of your freezer during the day, few lighting points, tv and energy saving fans at night.

He actually started it will lead acid battery? I was trying to imagine the space occupied. I admire his zeal.
To recoup his capital on the investment with time will depend on the type of products/accessories he used for the installation.
People that used Deye/Victron inverter with Deye lithium battery and Jinko/Canadian/Longi pv and other expensive accessories would have more time to wait while people that go for an average cost installation will recoup the capital early.

They have a physical office address in lekki phase1.

Their Gennex branded Inverters are cheaper than Gennex themselves.

People dnt talk more abt them here like Gennex and Fouani , reason why i dey ask.

Thanks

I doubt it. The Deye Smartload system takes advantage of the dedicated Generator Port by converting the Gen port to output under certain conditions. So, it will require that you wire your heavy loads to the gen port. If your inverter does not have this baked into its software, you can not use it even if you have 2 outputs. However, you can achieve the same thing in different ways.

For example, what I did is to put my large loads including AC, Fridge/Freezer, Water Heater and Water Pump on a smart relay that is controlled by Home Assistant. They can then be programmed to work only when battery SOC/Voltage/Current is between certain levels.

Saw few posts on panel purchase and noticed the panels came with cords but the ones I got from fouani came without cords... Please if you made purchase from fouani, do the panels come with cords?

60A CC with 1400w panel on a 12V system is a waste of resources.
with these loads, you need at least a 2000w panel, switch the batteries to 24V 105ah use 80A controller or 48V 50Ah LFP to maintain the 60A controller
Hybrid Inverter would have been a better choice.
My recommendation for this kind of load is 24V 2KW Hybrid with 80A MPPT, 2000watts panel to use during the day also to recharge, 24V, 210Ah LFP to power night loads
Having this same dilemma in terms of external CC and 12v system. The max panels the 60a cc can take is 720-780watts so what happens to the remaining. A 24v wud be a better option to utilize all the panels

Please experts in the house help me fine tune this setup.
Can these listed solar items power my load without stress.
The freezer and TV will be on only between 9 am to 5 pm.
The 3 fans will be on all night.
The 6 LED bulbs will be on up to about 10 pm

Load :
140 watts hisense chest freezer
50 watts hisense TV
10 watts Gotv decoder
6 pcs 5watts bulb
3 pcs 30 watts AC/DC fan
3 phone charging point

The setup:

2.5 kW inverter
60a mppt cc
1400 watts solar panel
12 v 210ah lifep04 battery
If i was in ur shoes, I'd just change the inverter/battery to a 24v system. Av a 12v system and av bin having headaches in terms of doing an upgrade.

Unless he's getting a high quality hybrid inverter, he's better off having individual components. From my experience, the average hybrids require large panel arrays to power loads and charge at the same time. Use a small array and u wud be dependent on grid for optimal charging unless u add an external charge controller

It's on this thread deye and big names are been mentioned. Yes you will recoup investment faster if you go cheap

Man just needs a simple inverter that can be fixed easily and fast.
He has about 3 inverters 10 and 5kva. Then a 12kva redundant inverter. All linked together in case the the 2 active inverters has issues the redundant system picks the load.

He designed the system from scratch from the Meters to Inverter that's just what I love about the whole system
