The PH-Aba Road is a 6 lane road which is not concrete and is 6.7km under Otti costs N30bn which is about N4.5bn per km

The FG is building a 10 lane concrete road from Lagos to Calabar and it costs N4bn per km

Which should ordinarily be more expensive?

Ignorance is a disease.

Going by the agenda you're trying to set, the 700 KM Lagos-Calabar coastal road which costs over #15 trillion is about #210 billion per KM.

But that is not how it works.

I'll spare a minute to educate you and other ignoramuses.

Port Harcourt road is a 6.7KM, 6-lane road, making a total of 40.2 KM. So, at #30 billion, the project cost works out #746.3 million per KM. So, Abia State government is spending less than #800 million per KM.

Again, the coastal road doesn't cost #4 billion per KM.

The project costs #15 trillion and #15 trillion for a 10-lane 700KM is around #21 billion per KM. The project is a PPP between the FG and Hitech bears the bulk of the financial burden. The #4 billion you quoted is FG's share of the cost per KM, while the private sector will source the other #17 billion per KM.

The FG is spending a little over #2 trillion on the entire project, while Hitech will source the other #13 trillion, that's why the road will be tolled at #1,500 per car to recoup the cost.

To even make it clearer, the road will carry a standard guage rail track and the average cost of constructing a KM in Nigeria is $6.91 million, which is over N6bn today.

If rail track alone will gulp N6bn, now how FG wan use N4bn to construct a KM of 10-lane road.

😂😂😂😂😂

Bros stop carrying fake news.

When the federal government first awarded this contract in August 2021 the dollar rate was much lower which stood a total of $11.17billion. But now the contract is worth N15trillion. So from Dave umahi analysis N4billion is the share cost out of the 10 lane per km

When Alex otti awarded his contract dollar stood at N1000. Do the maths and stop trying to show how gullible you are. Remember okezie ikpazu awarded this contract at a total of N9billion but now due to the exchange rate the price went up.

All you paid obidient ipob paid apologist lies so shamelessly n foolishly to say the least.

Dave Umahi was clear with the detailed cost of every inch of the road. He never said any investors had any hidden cost like you claimed and should be jailed for.

You claim FG pays only ₦4b as part cost of ₦17 billion per km. Dave Umahi came out on live TV to say no that is not the case when Atiku said the coat was ₦8 billion per KM but here you claiming it is ₦21 billion per KM.

Now tell me why you should not die in jail for this gross lies even when the minister came out specifically because of this lies ?

So because you want to defend a fraudster Alex Otti over inflated cost of constructing a 6 lane road at ₦4.5 billion you do not want the gullible foolish obidient following you to know the coastal highway you accuse Bola Tinubu of looting from or with cost ridiculously much less at just about ₦4 billion for 10 Lanes per/KM unlike the small 6 lanes by Alex OTti.

Alex Otti 6 Lanes = ₦4.5 billion per/KM
Bola Tinubu 10 Lanes ₦4 billion per/KM

The emboldened is the cruise obidient are hidding from those of your that can not tell the difference. Tinubu is the thief but he his building 10 Lanes @ ₦4 billion while Alex Otti like Peter Pandora Obi is the saint that does not steal yet he his building just 6 lanes unlike Tinubu 10 Lanes at over ₦4.5 billion per KM.

Which means if Alex Otti is to build 10 Lane road he will charge Ndi Anambra ₦10 billion per KM. You should also note that this Alex Otti ₦4.5 KM road is being washed off by rain as we speak in Aba while Bola Tinubu coastal rain tanda gidigba with the heavy witnessed in Lagos.
