Stephen Keshi na boss of bosses regarding Nigeria football history, even big SEG no Dey joke with Keshi when it comes to accolades…..Keshi ex Togo,Mali and Nigeria coach with WC qualification for Togo and Nigeria, reaching WC last 16 and Afcon winner, even Westerhof no match Big Boss.

Just Dey surprise that people who always attacking Keshi with bribery allegations are supporting Amunike who was involved in shady deals and well documented than Keshi hearsay allegations. This is the reason why I brought those allegations here not that I have anything against Emma Amunike.

And you are yet to answer the important part, Had Manuventure out of naija to Coach even a club before

Thank you Sir, this is better than what Oga humble had been throwing about, Manu had been given more Chances than Emma, still I took nothing away from him,

trying to promote one, while bringing down another is a no no to me, worst still Emma CV as posted is not even completed, what about his coaching Job with an Egyptian Club,

Thing is he tried by going out to secured and work on those places, The question is what had the Manu that Oga humble is trying to shove down our throat did??

Wow.

Thanks for the history. Started following him during Coja. Then found out he was part of the Atlanta 96 coaching crew and played a big role in our success. Then it was with the Trinidad and Tobago U17 with Temile, Akpan Bassey, Opabunmi and co. That team got to the finals and lost to Sinama Pongolle's France. Then he coached Coja team to the finals and also coached Dolphins with Kelechi Osunwa as the hit man to a finals too.

In all his years, Musa Abdulahi was a brilliant attacking coach.
Make una stop displaying mediocrity here! The same man you're praising that was outclassed by France during the finals or another one?
Always standing on the sidelines doing nothing! With his tribal stretch marks that looks like tiger claws, Dummy standing coach pro version of Onigbinde with his Telescope eyeglasses?
France took time to study his pattern of games knowing fully well he ALWAYS uses the same method of play. And when he noticed the game play, he couldn't do nothing cos he realized he got nothing to offer. The same man you people are praising here??
Is the same method of poor coaching that Eguaveon took una team to AFCON 2021 and Tunisia read una ynash. Standing clueless, he couldn't do nothing cos it's the same pattern of play he has thought them.
Hope una Amuneke will be different.

Abeg, what is this narrative? Which moniker here placed Amunike on par with Keshi? Is there anyone here who supports and wants Amunike that is talking down on Keshi's achievements? TheGoodJoe and myself are bonafide supporters of what Keshi achieved with the Super Eagles despite how same Keshi spoilt it with his own hands.

He took over the Tanzania job after their first game in 2018 in the Qualifiers. He won 2 and drew 1 of their next 5 games. Played a friendly with Egypt and lost 1-0.

Lost at the afcon to Powerhouses Senegal and Algeria. Two teams who played the Afcon final that same edition.

Is that what you really wanna use against Amunike?? What was Peseiro's records before the Afcon23 tournament?

But to be sincere most times we hire indeginous they most out of sentiment. Even the foreign coaches we do hire, journey men with nothing to offer. Siasia has been my best when it comes to playing pattern just need to work on his defence. Just as Oliseh was given a chance, I just feel Amuneke should also be given a chance let's see what he can do make everybody rest.

TheGoodJoe has also been accused of tribalism and hypocrisy by same moniker. Joe, just ignore some things... you and I know you are not tribal. It's never seen in your analyses or takes.

Marjoribanks, you surprise me oooo. Joebie and TheGoodJoe are two monikers in here out of several others who will never go the tribal route when talking football. Please let us be guided.

It is well. I will take it as his own way of understanding but sincerely I will call on Marjoribanks to kindly not mislabel just anyone as tribalistic or hypocritical because your views differ from theirs or becos they aren't seeing things from your angle of analysis.

Marjoribanks and Myself don't agree on Amunike. But we agree on other things regarding the Super Eagles. No drop of tribal accusations between us. And I am okay with him not even rating or wanting Amunike. It is fine really. We all can't agree on same things coz we all don't see the same things (only exception is if something is so bloody obvious and person still dey argue blindly).

Marjoribanks, kindly extend same courtesy to Joebie. He is not sentimental. Infact, Joebie has no favorites. I cannot pinpoint one player or coach that Joebie has rooted for so strongly. He just says it as it is based on facts and what he analyses with the tools available to us analysts.

Humility there are things one must accept in life or else….it is glaring that we need competence but I will rather have Amunike,Finidi or Siasia over carpenter foreign coaches.

We just need to give Amunike the chance and let’s see how things goes or are you okay with JP very negative football

Negative football or not…a coach will decide what suits him based on d strength of his players…even though I was a stronger hater of Jo style and result,he later picked in terms of result wc mattered most to me ….

Mancity played beautiful football against Madrid…but wc team will be watching d games from tv during d semifinals? 😊

Nobody has supported Chukwueze, Nwakali etc better than me on this platform. I was among the first to fight for Finidi to be appointed as SE coach on this platform.
Nobody has criticized Salisu and Bosso than me on this platform. Likewise, nobody has critic Yekini than me on this platform.
My position will not change. I will always call out selective criticism and praise.

I will not respond to him any further nor speak on this matter going forward.

Relax. It is not you under scrutiny. I don't recall calling you tribalistic or nepotitic or gravely sentimental. I said as much in that post that although we don't agree on all things, we don't take the tribal routes.

Your thoughts on Chuks, Nwakali and co are well documented on this thread so it is not being called into question.

The only thing I am saying is kindly give a few others a chance to say what they mean even if in opposition to yours without you labelling them hypocritical or tribalistic except you have absolute clear evidence of it.

One moniker here who if referred to as biased, sentimental or gravely hating is Komekn. At least, everyone knows his matter on this thread with concrete evidence littered all over the thread.

But for monikers like Joebie and TheGoodJoe, no please. Tackle your disagreement with their angle from another side. Not from the tribal route. That is only my advice.

EXCLUSIVE: NFF Cttee picks foreign coach for Super Eagles

Ignore the speculations that a coach has already been appointed for the Super Eagles as SCORENigeria can report today that the NFF technical committee recommended to the executive board that a foreign coach is best placed to lead the Super Eagles to glory.

The Super Eagles are now expected to build on the momentum they created after they reached the final of the recent AFCON to qualify for both the 2026 World Cup and the 2025 AFCON.

This remmendation though was made on the proviso that the NFF can afford to pay such a coach.

That explained why the committee then forwarded three foreign coaches to be considered for the top post by the executive board.

SCORENigeria checks further revealed that at least one of the top foreign coaches who applied for the post will take around $80,000 a month as salary.

It further recommended that the new foreign coach be assisted by a local coach, who will learn more on the job.

The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has already made it clear it will not pay the salaries of a new Super Eagles coach.

The technical committee also gave the executives an option to hire an indigenous coach in the event it cannot afford a foreign coach.

“Consultations are still going on, nothing has been decided,” insisted another top source.
