Chinese sell things that can irritate Nigerians. What if you go in there and you find lizards of different types and sizes, cocroaches and stuff like that? They also have places inside inside where the eat! If you are close to a Chinese they will take you inside. It may not be discriminatory as people are concluding! |

SoNature:Omooorrrr u dey think like Jack Baur. This was exactly what I said to myself since yesterday. How many Chinese people are in Abuja that they will make sales enough to even cover the expenses of running the business talk more of making profit? Investigators should do their work sha, we may be shocked of what's really happening in that place |

SoNature:Its a money laundering building disguised as supermarket. Now lets come back home. Most of the grand superstores in 9ja owned by 9jerians are just a front. They are all money laudering platforms. Just gree as i tell u. |

SoNature:Exactly!! Maybe thats were they do their illegal stuffs all in the name of supermarket.Maybe that's were they export pen!s or even run some awkward things. If our government or security agencies were up.and doing they would immediately get a warranty for proper search |

I still don't know why this is a big deal. Owner of private (not government) property said someone should not enter, you said they're not good. Chinese or no, they bought the land. If you didn't want them to do whatever you wanted with it you should not have sold it to them. People behaving as if the owner borrowed it or is a mere caretaker for the land |

ColonelZeus:How can one be so brainwashed or myopic. I can even understand discrimination in their county but in your own country and you are condoning it, that as long as they pay taxes, Nigerians should mind their own business, here in Abuja? Mental slavery |

hslbroker2:Forget hate among ourselves, that's a family problem. It's unacceptable that outsiders would come into our house and start insulting us. |

ColonelZeus:I am sure you’ve never stepped outside the shores of Nigeria and if you have, you did not learn anything about whatever happens in your host country. Can you go to China and open a store or business for only Nigerians there? Think - if you have the capacity to actually think! |

abdsamad:Please stop behaving like an ingrate that uses left hand to point to his father's compound. The Chinese don't own any land in Nigeria, all land belongs to the government, they can only lease it. Even if they bought and own the land, they cannot commit a crime on the land. They should go to South Africa and discriminate against the locals claiming they own the land, and see if they would live to tell the story. |

| Re: Abuja Chinese Supermarket Shuts Doors by safariman(m): 4:20pm On Apr 22, 2024 |
What is wrong here is that as long as they are serving the public, they are bound and obligated to not discriminate. Its different if its your private residence and you invite certain friends over. Its not the property (govt or private owned) that is in question, its that you are providing a service to the public, therefore, cannot operate it like apartheid or discriminate based on your colour, tribe etc. abdsamad: |

... Not that im defending these Chinese people, but I've been to China and I know their tradition, Chinese people are extremely discreet, they don't like sharing anything with you. That's why they live in clusters, Chinatown. You hardly see Chinese people intermingle with commoners. And they do it to everyone including Europeans not just blacks alone. I think it's an Asian thing.
