The recent video circulating about a female student assaulting another female student in Lead British School got me so upset that I could not do anything for the rest of the day. I was just hungry for revenge because it brought back memories that I did not want to remember. Bullying is a serious problem that needs to be addressed in schools. One of the ways we can start addressing this issue is by sharing our personal experiences.

In Primary 3 I tried to bully a skinny classmate "Augustine" because I seemed taller and bigger than he was.

At lunch break, we were made to have a go at it once and for all.

Because my mama just buy me one boxer wey get like championship belt, I believe say I be boxing champion.

Before I set blow, I don see myself for ground with one part of my face staining the poor floor.

I cry reach house tell my mama say na 5 people gather me beat. 4 hold my hand the 5th one nack me for ground....


My mama tie wrapper say she go follow me go school go see people wey beat her pikin. Na so I begin beg my mama say make she no go oh...laslas she follow me go dem find out say na lie. I collect more beating for house for wasting their food at home and not able to utilize the food in a fight outside..

I’m a victim but not physical bully, psychological bullying is more depressing which Africans are not looking into, it becomes worse for introverts, though it kind of helps you become more stronger personality especially if you’re able to overcome it.

About physical bullies, mom teaches us to fight back, wimps are mocked and laughed at in my environment

During my time in Junior secondary school as a Gen Z student 🐰, I had an older brother in SS2, who effectively deterred many troublesome seniors from bothering me.

Secondary school students are very wicked
Very brutal, you will be scared of seniors more than the most wicked teacher. They will collect your provisions without you having a say. Running stomach will catch you on resumption day by mere sighting those seniors. Your class mate that is bigger and stronger than you can give you sleepless night. Some students deficate and urinate on their bodies due to flogging

Many people joined cult in school because they were bullied.

Bullying has even left the walls of school to the streets.

E no go better for who carry confra come street, see as boys dey die for every corner.

But its somehow a medium of population control, that's why the Government careless.

I was bullied by my Female Paediatric teachers to the extent I became suicidal. That's damaging!
Even after many Years, it's still like yesterday.
Some, I learnt are even Deaconesses in their various churches 😭😭😭. I wish their kids well.

But I will remind them that, they will not always be there for their kids and grandkids. Another set of monster who they succeeded in creating will handle them better.

I remember when one useless fool tried to bully me cuz our family are family friends and I was new to the school, I change am for am sotey till today which is years about 9yrs nw, we don't greet talkless of talking again.....
I just love the maturity our parents use and never asked why we don't talk to each other till date, even my papa wan ask one time,I tell am make he lockup straight....

General overseer of MFM once shared an interesting episode while he was in school then. A boy kept bullying him daily and forcefully collecting his bread or snacks. This kept happening daily and he has no one to run to. Not until one day, the bully called him again in order to seize his goodies as usual but something else happened and the bully was not even expecting it .

He gathered courage and gave a heavy punch to the bully that left him staggering. That settled it. Since that day, power changed hands, the bully no longer disturbs him again.

I was a bully because of my popularity.

But one day a Jss3 student changed it for me in in Ss1.

Was just little altercation about who to sit in a chair and this boy get mind tell me to do my worst after dismissal.

Omo...I got mad by that.
After dismissal on our way back, the real fight happened.

In the presence of all my classmates that were hailing me, this little boy jacked me up to 3ft and landed me on ground.
Niggrr beat me so bad. It was our social studies teacher that saved me that day (was on her way back).

May his soul rest in peace . The guy died last two years.

I was once been bullied in Secondary school because of my height (short). My mate will send me an errand, if I object, they spanked my small head. But I later become the bad guy they wanted me to be after I went for Boxing training. I now became the one bullying those that were bullying me then.

Can you imagine, when he should have been the one protecting you as per family friend.

For my school, na so so injustice dey happen, as soon as those foreign students waka enter our class.

Naso our teachers go dey malingering for deir side, dey vamus us, dey give dem all the better better things wey we local students dey only dream of. the wakis dey arrange for dem, Like say our teachers don drink their Toto water.

From the fine fine beds for hostel to no need to do common common chores wey we dey do, dem dey treat dem like kings and queens.

As the hostel master talk say dem na "special" and dem no need to clean toilet, e clear say na just because of their skin color or where dem come from. E be like say dem send dem come here to behave well, but the teachers dey form like say dem dey fall yakata for dem, dey rush to hear tori about obodo oyinbo wey dem come from, as per dey sef wan japa and Dey bi butta for dier bread.

E no easy to see say me and my friends dey considered unworthy just because we be born for this side. But e geh why. the school dey show us say na so life be. You go bank, bank people go find chair give Chinese person, but we wey be black people, dem go just leave us dey stand. Na wetin dem dey teach us be that.

Even for work place ogas de bully their staffs , agbalagba for that matter oo.

No body bullied me and I didn't bully anyone. I was bigger among my pairs and I hardly associate and I was also the boring type.

A special form of Evil, Foolishness & nastiness...
It says a lot about young human beings who haven't seen anything in life yet, but act this way as children & Teenagers

i was in control during my primary and also in secondary school na me be Agric prefect and Labour prefect who supposed to be bullying others de under my control, ...finally no one bullied me amd i didn't bully anyone , glory be to God
