Jonathan met 65 billion dollars in the foreign reserve and wasted over 35billion dollars out of it. Bihari Meet meagre 28 billion dollars. Buhari added around 5 billion dollars leaving 33 billion dollars in the reserve. Anytime You guys want to glorify Jonathan Administration, always remember that he wasted 35 billion dollars in less than 6 years. Jonathan Administration did not add one dollar to the foreign reserve.

With their ways of administration,
Imagine Jonathan coming back to be president in 2027 and imagine Tinubu was the president in 2011.

It's more than 18 steps backward.
The APC alliance initiated by Tinubu has ravaged Nigerians through poverty and insecurity.
Buhari had examined himself and announced his retirement from election politics after he lost the 2011 presidential election. Tinubu went to bring back Buhari in 2014 because of Tinubu's selfish interest to take over from Buhari as president.

The same Buhari they’re all condemning today was their choice twice. Ask any of them why they voted him, and the answers will have nothing to do with the competence or integrity they were all shouting then, and everything to do with hate and tribalism. The 2023 elections was a foreign experiment on how the black man would react when faced with a choice between right and wrong. Clear records of a life of conscientious hard work against a lifetime of crime, and just like the Jews they chose Barabbas. And you expect anyone to care when the consequences of your stupidity become apparent? My people have a saying, 'agbasi oso aguo mile', wait for the race to be over before counting the steps. Eighteen steps backwards and counting, we’re not done going back yet!

Bu:hari left it at minus billions of dollars... Bu:hari never added anything to the economy..

It was and is due to Tinubu increasing petrol price, removing fuel subsidy, arresting dollar speculators e.t.c. that added $33 billion to the economy..

it has nothing to do with Bu:hari..

Bu:hari is the worst president in Nigeria's history..

Good:luck Jo:nathan is 1000 times better than bu:hari

false information from statisense..

Nigeria's economy is backed by crude oil. which means the economy cannot fall from $568.50 billion to $374.95 billion in 9 years it always has to go upwards unless someone or a group of government officials intentionally deduct $193.55 billion from the government accounts...

It's like real estate.. the price of real estate only goes up.. the price you paid for rent or lease in 2015 is lower than the price you pay in 2024.

For Nigeria's economy to drop like that then the amount of Barrels Per day of crude oil that Nigeria produces has to drop drastically.

Nigeria currently produces 1.7 million barrels per day.. it would have to drop to 200 thousand barrels per day for Nigeria's economy to drop badly.

This one is drunk on fermented agbado water....umqunboti dey shack your brain sir!!!

Well, this is not news...!

The real news is Tinubu looking lost and shocked about the state his predecessor left the nation in.

A predecessor he sponsored and supported into office.

Oh well... It's his mess to clean up or worsen now.

For Naija's sake, I just hope he really knows what he is doing in that office.

If he fails... Nigeria is gone for good!

Buharis aloofness is legendary. Nothing matters to him except himself. Even his wife and to some extent, his kids did not matter to him. His non challant attitude to issues will make you to question his sanity and commitment to Nigeria's economic growth. Thank God, President Tinubu, despite his perceived short comings, is totally different from Buhari in approaching things. At least, he is communicating his economic policies and his team are engaging Nigerians. He is always swift once there is a public outcry on issues and he has never failed to own up to any mistakes since he came to power. But for Buhari, I have not seen such a leader! Senator Shehu Sani may have a name for Buhari but I can't seem to see any in my dictionary.

"In turn, the average Nigerian is worse off than in pre-Buhari times, an observation that is hard to deny."

The above fact cannot be denied even by the ethno-religious bigots of the SW and far north Nigeria who continue to support APC.
Nigeria's voters rejected APC in 2019, but INEC's Mahmood Yakubu hid under "There was no INEC SERVER" to concede presidential election victory to Buhari.

In 2023, Nigeria's voters rejected APC, but the same Mahmood Yakubu bent down to retake his vomit through sidelining the transparent and modern system of electronic transmission and collation of vote results, instead, went for the abandoned and non transparent manual collation of votes results to steal the presidential election for APC.

In spite of Buhari’s failures, we should stop covering Tinubu and how bad he has been so far.
If I made something bad, you cannot be trying to rectify it by making it more than 5times worse.

Thank you for this. a lot of Nigerians in a bit to glorify someone, mess another big time. I'm not a supporter of both Government but, the facts should be laid bare totally.

“High oil prices had flattered Nigeria’s bleak economic picture for many years, and the end of the boom triggered a period of uncertainty as the crisis loomed. In fact, in a bid to curtail the damage, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) devalued the naira from ₦155/$1 to ₦168/$1, and subsequently to ₦199/$1, to no avail. The combination of the oil price slump and gross maladministration of previous regimes left the economy on tenterhooks by the time President Buhari took charge.
