My iphone 8plus was having base band issues, after repair found out the engineer tampered with the panel as fingerprint sensor no longer working.
Saying there's nothing that can be done.

Any help please?

maybe he ripped the home button flex,in that case a screen replacement should work but you can have someone replace the flex for you without changing the screen too.
