Personally, I prefer whatsapp without all the distraction of feeds and updates.

So, it was surprising to see Mark trying to turn whatsapp into another Facebook with these channels.

I wish I could remove or hide the channels from my WhatsApp. I've never clicked to look at any of the channels merely out of rebellion.

Hopefully, I believe if no one touched it, I believe they might phase it out.

If we want to be bombarded with contents we know where to look at, not whatsapp.

Another feature I can't seem to understand or feel like it's useful is the community feature. What exactly is the point?

I feel it's redundant and not useful at all. If you want more people in the same group then just allow admin to add more members to the already existing group.

Why ask them to bundle different groups just to achieve the same aim in a more clumsy manner?

I hate the channel feature. If I want those channels, I know them on IG and YouTube. Why will I go to WhatsApp to watch Brain Jotter again after watching him on IG or TikTok? As a matter of fact, I don't follow any content creator on more than one platform. If I follow you on Facebook, nothing will make me follow you on YouTube, IG or TikTok. If I follow you on TikTok, nothing will make me follow you on another platform.

I have not had any need of the community feature.

I would have dumped WhatsApp a long time ago but most of my contacts are not active on Telegram. Mark is busy blocking GB WhatsApp users instead of using the same energy to make WhatsApp have the amazing features of GB WhatsApp.

Telegram is the coolest app. Unfortunate that people are not very active there.

Someone should help me tell Mark that I'll never follow any WhatsApp channel. If he likes, let him shove it down my throat, I'll never!

I noticed this feature on WhatsApp since last year and i haven't bothered to click on any of them. It's useless to me

I've never understood the point. Life continues on my end.

That channel feature sef, for example, after going on instablog page on Instagram and reading posts and watching videos, then I will come to their WhatsApp channel to do the same, haba

I agree with you on this

I refuse to use the Channels feature as it is just another way for corporations to make us more addicted to their applications and waste our precious time on it.
It is just another money-maker for them. Just a way to exploit our propensity to get addicted to these useless stuff against us.

As for me and my family, i only concentrate on chats and voice note finish.
If i need anything else i know where to find them.
