South South people are so happy because of the coastal road that will be constructed and they have not hidden it, South West people are happy because the road will be constructed. But you see South East, they are very bitter because of that road. Why?

So this is your argument? They are happy with high cost of food, fuel, no light, no jobs? They personally told you that this is their priority that will put food in their stomach?

They think we are dumb, Nigeria is not Lagos.

You awarded Nigeria most expensive project to your friend without a competitive bidding and think having Ben Bruce sing your praise is a way out.

The situation highlighted in this news is deeply concerning and reflects longstanding challenges in Nigeria's economic management and infrastructure development. The recurring issues of fuel scarcity, outstanding debts, and inadequate infrastructure point to systemic failures that urgently need addressing.

It's alarming to see crucial sectors like oil production declining, leading to foreign exchange shortfalls and economic instability. The focus should be on comprehensive reforms and strategic planning to revitalize key industries, enhance revenue generation, and improve the country's competitiveness on the global stage. And not on white elephant project.

They cannot maintain the existing and dilapidated roads across the country. They are building a new one because they want to steal money through their own company that they gave the contract without due process

The coastal road as an alternative road will reduce stress on the internal roads thereby making them last longer. New communities will also spring up along the coasts leading to more economic activities and depopulation of already overpopulated internal urban and rural areas. How about travel time reduction? The advantages are endless.

It doesn't take away the fact that Tinubu broke the law in the award of this contract.

I remember not a long time ago when all these rodents feasted on Dr. Oby Ezekwesili for criticizing Nigeria Air and when she was all out against Emefiele during Buhari's administration. She was insulted beyond measure by unfortunate political goons and louts but today, we know the truth.

People are talking about the cost and economic wastage. As a father, you plan your family. You don't leave the children's school fees and feeding to start a new building project when the house you are living in has a leaking roof, and broken doors and windows. You don't tell the wife and children to shut up and don't sleep in the new house whenever you finish it. This is a ridiculous statement.

There's nothing like coastal highway In Nigeria, have you been to Bayelsa before? You would need ten times of that so-called 12trillion to build high bridges that will cut across those creeks and mangroves.

Why build alternative roads when the main road is in a terrible state? What you are saying the alternative road ends up being the main road.

south east are prudent people they spend when necessary they focus on priorities and that's why they are doing fine economically

What a South Eastern see sitting even if you agbadorians climb the highest mountain una no go see anything

The Nigerian economy is dying because no Igbo person is driving the affairs

Keep deceiving yourself at this point this country is now it is not the Time to do the right thing at the wrong time

Coastal high is good nobody condemned it is just that the timing is wrong that 15trillion if invested in electricity generation if will go a Long way remember that those company that exited Nigeria did go because of bad roads but Left because of high cost of production and ease of doing business

Development is by phase by phase don't skip it
