All our relay teams qualified yesterday except the female 4by400 who did not participate cos they are 12th placed in the World.
The 12th position placed them in a comfortable position to qualify except something out of the ordinary happens. lol
We broke the 4by400 mixed relay African Record!

What about individual events

Olise has scored and Mateta against Manchester United it's going to be long night for Man U.

Just waiting for Eberechi to make it a resounding victory for Crystal palace

Let our boy just do 15-20 and stay injury free

Once again, Politano assists..
Any club that wants to sign Osimhen should sign Politano as well
Those two have serious understanding like KDB and Haaland do

I meant Siasia hardly assist Yekini. The same Siasia that did not make the 1988 and 1990 Nations Cup? Siasis came into limelight 1991/92.
Samson Siasia came to limelight in Moscow 85 after missed Mexico 83 due to his WAEC in St Finbarrs, and later made Moscow 85 where he assisted Monday Odiaka to emerge as one of the leading scorer…..He would have made Afcon 86 with Odiaka,Austin Igbinabairo,Osaro Obabaifo but Nigeria failed to qualify, losing to Zambia and this led to sack of Chris Udemezue.

Samson Siasia was not released for Maroc 88 just like Keshi who later forced his way by flew in out in and played two matches during the tournament.

After the tournament Samson Siasia emerged again with Yekini,Sam Okwaraji,Andrew Uwe and Stephen Keshi, they qualified eagles for Seoul Olympic Games.Samson Siasia played all through 1990 WC qualifiers but not released again by his club for Algiers 1990.

He made his Afcon debut in 1992 which was too late for a player who was regular with eagles since late 1985.

Samson Siasia did not came to limelight in 1992 Afcon.

I would disagree

I've known Rhian Brewster since he was 14 and I thought he was good but not world class incredible. And he won the golden boot at U17 level for England.

He is now languishing in Sheffield United trying to find relevance in a system that does not suit his skill set.

Although he is laughing all the way to the bank decent wages after a £21 million transfer from Liverpool.

Only talent is not enough. That is why I strictly used the word talent. Talents still needs nurturing and discipline.

I was familiar with his story! He did not play any AFCON until 1992. That is my point!

How then can I rate such player ahead of Papillo?

Siasia was more impactful in the SE than Kanu.

Was a good foil for Yekini in the early 90s. His performance in the 1994 is overlooked due to the disciplinary wahala he had with a Westerhof before the second round match against Italy. His more mature interpretation of the midfield role at the USA 94 WC really gave the SE a cutting edge unlike the playing to the gallery jayjay in his early days.

I can remember a handful of games that Sia1 came up clutch for the SE.

But the fact also remains, Kanu too missed the 1996 and 1998 Nations Cup qualifiers and the tourney itself when he was at his peak. 2002 World Cup for Kanu was like Siaone's 1994 World cup. Unfortunately, that minister...

I hope so o. Finidi need to be smart in his demands to the NFF if he wants his job to be easier... NFF might refuse to hire some personnel he needs. remember when Rohr and Peseiro were rumoured to be paying some of their backroom staff themselves because the NFF refused to hire them officially
Normally, NFF ought to get smarter with backroom staff mode and trash out that Atlanta 96 mode wey archaic pass ottoman empire abeg. They ought to take those 2 roles as important so that others can start seeing it as important to delve into.

Westerhorf really do us strong thing for that US94. Rooted Sia1 on d bench even when dem comot Amokachi heels and Amunike blokos. Upon all the misfiring from Yeking. Somehow every pass was still going to him. Italians found out, left the MF for Okocha and Donadoni held on to Yekini. Maybe introduction of Prince of Monaco and Sia1 may have swung that game in our favour.

The way Crystal Palace played today especially Eze and Olise is exactly how Finidi wants Iheanacho and Iwobi to play. The problem is, Iheanacho is not so sleek with dribbling.

Boni/Lookman should take that position!

Everything! Chukwueze has everything better than Olise, that is why he is playing for Mila and your Olise is rotten at Palace!

According to this wise man Olise is slow cannot dribble and he can only cross the ball.
