Not really, they just met a team that is playing them for real. I know what I was saying in the Lakers series, that nuggets team was nowhere near as godlike as the lakers made them seem. I said it even then, Nuggets bench is not all that - they were balling because Lakers were down low mailing it in.

How much more could LeBron have been off the ball this season? He had his lowest usage since his rookie year. And you know that apart from DLo, there was really no other ball handler/playmaker on that team. He's complaining about LeBron's turnovers like that part of his game just surfaced. His turnover numbers this season is still the same with last season and the season before that and the previous years. Nothing has changed.

You're talking about fine-tuning offense but nobody is making reference to the amount of injuries the Lakers had that forced us to have several starting fives for two thirds of the season. At a point we were starting Prince, then Cam, then Reaves went to the bench, then it was DLo who went to thr bench, then when Vanderbilt returned he came back to the starting 5, before settling on Rui due to Vanderbilt's injury. We were all over the place. The Warriors had a similar issue and their HOF players and coaches couldn't even will them to the playoffs. And yet somebody is here comparing Curry to LeBron.

If you check my previous comments you'll see I tipped Minnesota to win before the match up self but... Murray has been injured since the Lakers series that's wasup, he's been playing through it but now Timberwolves defense makes things worse for him, no be D'lo and then soft Lakers boys come dey Mark am, it's all encompassing but the injury has been on before the series even started with Denver.

One thing this playoffs highlights once again is that " the young dogs have taken over" there is changing of the guards.

Which is why the warriors refusing to hand the keys to kuminga and moody all season was infuriating. Those guys deserved to play more than the washed Klay and cp3.

Secondly, this playoffs also teaches that except you have super longevity like lebron and to all lesser extent Steph , the window of opportunity to win a title in the NBA is often very short (2-4 years max) .

Once you are not serious enough to grab that opportunity, while in your prime by either chasing stats (harden) or money (lillard, Bradley beal) or choking when it matters (Booker,Cp3, Paul George) , an unexpected upstart can come from no where to usurp you.
3 years ago, the nuggets where just also rans, and the phoenix suns where supposed to dominate thr western conference after the decline of the warriors, suns wasted their chances,and out of no where, the nuggets have become a juggernaut.
Same happened to lob city when they jonz and the warriors came out of no where to become a terror.

Now the wolves and okc are also emerging.
It's already looking like PG, Harden, CP3, Lillard , Westbrook, Devin booker will never win a title.

This is why players like Tatum ,Zion Williamson and Morant need to get serious fast.

Lastly, the NBA finally have their new faces of the league emerging in this playoffs.

I know you will make it a Curry vs LeBron matter. That's all you think of. In my post, I classifed Curry as washed too unless he stops chucking 3s. If he makes use of his midrange, he is still lethal. LeBron on the other hand is intimidating to his teammates. Both his coaches and his teammates are scared of antagonizing him. If Lebron demands the ball, no one dares to refuse him. As a result, that ball doesn't move freely. You can't compare Rajon Rondo's distribution of the ball to DLo's. These boys are playing scared. People here were dugging AD for not taking control of the 4th quarter in the series against Denver. If Lebron decides to play iso ball in the 4th quarter, Na who want stop am?

Look, I watched rockets when steve franchise and cuttino mobley used to costus games while looking like they were playing hard. I am familiar with pretenders. And I know what I saw in that Laker-Nuggets series. Your guys were trying to get big leads, then coast to the end. In other words, play with the minimal effort to win. That laziness cost them what could have been another ring this year.

The problem was, he wasn't knocking them down, wasn't passing when he should, ran his mouth too much and had that altercation with Draymond. You watched the game a few months back where DLo was cooking and he passed LeBron the ball. LeBron basically was infuriated and threw the ball back to DLo with annoyance. The DLo cooked some more. But we can't blame LeBron when DLo scores zero points in game 3 or goes 6/20 in game one. You can't say he's not been given enough opportunities.

I didn't watch the game you are talking about. DLo scored 0/7. Other superstars would demand the ball even when their shooting is bad. Some score 0 at half and start to cook in the 3rd or 4th. D.Lo might score 0 but he will have his assist numbers up if given the ball to distribute till he builds confidence to go to the rim or shoot. But when Bron pushes him to SG instead of PG and his shots are not dropping, what else is he to do?

DLo's role on the team is simple, to shoot the ball and be a secondary playmaker. If he's not doing either of them well enough then there's no way he can be impactful on that team. The onus then falls on the superstars to clean the mess. This is playoff basketball. LeBron has been doing it longer than anybody in this league

Malone refusing to make adjustment is killing them. Continue playing Murray that is injured or out of sort is killing the flow of their offense.

They have players that are at least as tall as Naz, Anderson and McDaniel in Watson, Braun and Strawrer, Malone needs to utilize them to counter the double pressing and defense of Wolves.
