They will search it of course, why?
I thought drugs aren't allowed

You are travelling with medications, not ‘drugs’.. your items are definitely scanned so do not travel with any incriminating items or accept to help someone take a package with you. DO NOT ACCEPT.
What part of my message depict traveling with incriminating materials? In medicine, all are referred to as drugs. Antibiotics and whatnot. Please get away with your bad mind

Her husband can cover the trip, since they are married, so put that as her relationship status. They should get an affidavit from a High Court where they live in Nigeria declaring that they contracted a customary marriage on so-and-so date. Is she living with her husband? Gather all the evidence they have of their relationship particularly co-habitation (sharing the same address on official documents, providing support for one another, sharing bills, etc.).

Thank you. She picked up her passport yesterday, and her 2-year visa was approved. (First timer)

You have collected passport now oo, and didn't share the good news cheesy

Which TLS contact centre did you use for your biometrics ?

Drphade:
Hello all, had biometrics on 22nd April, now I got collection email on 3rd of May, no other email. 3rd of May was a Friday and I got the email around 4pm (close of business), so I can't collect the passport until Monday.

The suspense is killing me guys, should I expect another email stating the UKVI's decision? because all I got was the collection email so far. The application was for standard visitor visa

All are drugs!!!! That's the medical term. Paracetamol is a drug, same as Artesunate.

Hard drugs are narcotics and the likes

Good evening house.
Kindly assist me please. Here is my question:
My intending trip is company sponsored training to the UK , do I still need to print my bank statement since my company will be submitting its bank statement and letter of introduction?
The training body is offering letter of invitation.

Good day every one, please I am planning on visiting uk on tourist but the issue I am having is that the company I work for don't pay our salary direct they pay it to another organization to credit our account and the name of the organization appears on my statement of account instead of the company name I work for.The question is how can I show it or explain to the visa officer that is the company I work for paying the salary not the organization? ,pls I need your help and my salary is 999970 I hope it's enough for 8 days tourist with closing balance of 6.8m?
I think you should write a support letter to explain this and add it as part of the documents you'll submit.

Please for a company sponsored application is it right to select this and then put the personal account statements later as advised?

@cashmadam

And other gurus.

Really grateful

Hi everyone. A friend applied for her mum to attend her brother graduation in the Uk for this July but application was refused.

Her mum is a trader tejuosho market, and my friends husband is her sponsor for the trip and supporting documents were included below is the refusal letter, the fault on her part is she failed to include receipts or invoices of her mum business now she wants to reapply, is there any additional info/documentation to support this and what are chances of success if she reapplies immediately.
Please note her business is in thrifts clothing and sales in the market is mostly in cash, so her account is not properly run but she deposits via pos occasionally
Also attached are the documents uploaded also

Please kindly advise on what to do, thank you all

Let her just forget about that trip if her business can't ensure she funds it herself.

the visa officer is asking how her funds yearly arrived at that figure as no deposit, nothing from a reputable organisation paying salary to employees on a monthly basis was noticed.

He however noticed several huge deposits with no explanation whatsoever left bare and sticking out like a sore thumb or like coal stuffed in cake.

Nairaland is hosted in Nigeria. And medicine is worldwide. Drugs is drugs. From agbo to tablets to capsules to intravenous fluids, they're referred to as drugs.

Please has anyone got this mail from DMC Croydon before?

Dear xxxxx

Thank you for your visa/entry clearance application which has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days and settlement applications within 60 working days (unless you have opted for a Priority Visa service).

We are unable to resolve your application within these customer service targets, due to operational restrictions. Please be assured that we will continue to progress your application to enable a decision to be made as soon as possible.

Please do not attend the application centre until you have been contacted by the VAC.

Kind regards
Croydon DMC

Thank you but she is not the one sponsoring the trip, the yearly figure was based of monthly profit from her business, and she sells in the market so she handles cash more

Does anyone have knowledge of how long it takes to have a mistake on the vignette corrected after re-submission of passport to VAC? The intended correction is on the visa validity period.

To assist others who may have similar question in the future. It took a week, which was inclusive of a public holiday. TLS thereafter called the passport owner for pickup.

Some of these over sabi sef.

Drug is for medication

A medication is a drug used to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent disease.

It is cos of some bag guys that people now think any thing drug means cocaine or banned substances.

We say go to the Pharmacy and get me drugs. It does not mean heroine or Cocaine

My parents got their visa. I used my uk bank statement and 2M in my mother's Fidelity account. The 2M has been there and no inflow or outflow. So I believe they used UK documents to grant them visa. I'm using skilled worker visa with my family.

I am filling out the UK visa application for a sister who is planning to go to the UK for a short vacation with her husband, but she has no marriage certificate. The sister and the husband did only the traditional wedding. The only thing they have are wedding photos.

Under the relationship status, should I put married for her or an unmarried partner?

Also, she doesn't have a good bank statement. Her account balance is about 150k naira, but she said the husband's account is good (she said his bank balance is 10 million naira and $9600 in his domiciliary account).

Can she use her husband as her sponsor?

They have a daughter together who is studying at the university. The husband doesn't need a visa to enter the UK because he has a Panama passport apart from his Nigerian passport. Their daughter is not traveling with them.

They owned a house property. The C of O is in the husband's name.

How can I help her package this application?

Good evening, please I'm in the same shoes now though I'm applying from outside nigeria. Want to apply for uk visa and my account is not available as i left nigeria last year and I'm not working here but I'm planning on using my husband account details with about 12kusd balance. Can I just submit that my husband's account as the sponsor? Note: my husband has a valid 2 years visa. Thank you
