komekn: Yeah, the article also says VO is willing to wait He's in a strong position He's probably the highest paid player in the Serie A He just got €125k for scoring 15 league goals this season He's having his second best year for Napoli And so on.. So Osimhen is in a strong position There's no need to rush to the EPL If he has to stay one more season in Naples, I don't think he would mind Let's see how it goes Time will tell.. |

Na una dey worry una self Osimhen doesn't need to move this summer He can even choose to run down his contract in Napoli sef If they bring in Conte next season, it may even be a plus for him Na we the fans dey desperate for him to move to the EPL Man knows his future is secure So he's in no hurry at all I completely support his contract renewal last season Best decision for him at the time |

komekn: Chelsea are not convinced but went ahead and offered Napoli £, Lukaku and a young player, huh? Oga, what Chelsea's fans are against is the ridiculous offer. They don't know if the young player is good and they think they can sell Lukaku for almost half of that offer. Besides, two African players could be another problem if they go for AFCON. 4 Likes |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 2:43pm On May 09 |
Napoleon55: The question good enough is not the issue. The question is ,is his very direct style of play as a quintessential number 9 suited to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city. In my opinion No and you will want to compare him to Haaland they are similar but Haaland is way better ( a generational enigma) However, Chelsea a big yes ,they don't really have a preferred style they are in transition several managers in a very short space of time. But it's double edged sword ⚔️ it could go bad or good for VO. Chelsea need to offload several disgruntled and in some regards poorly performing over and highly paid players. Two players in a swap deal would be excellent for Napoli, Mudryk and Lukaku and any other lightweights would be perfect. I think Chelsea may decide to play a pyramid style to accommodate VO and make him the focal point of their game plan. This would suit VO perfectly. Will Chelsea win the league on account of that very unlikely. |

komekn:OK, he is good enough to play for Chelsea because Chelsea no get style but not good enoug for EPL top 3,that's what u r trying to say from all these, because I did not include the suitability of his style in my question Time will tell. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 3:19pm On May 09 |
Premier League is almost done. Clubs will have to look at their finances and streamline as well as rationalize. Chelsea has for many years had an open cheque book and willing to use it very recklessly in my opinion. But Russian money 🤑 is gone and that approach is simply financially unsustainable. They have performed very poorly considering the amount of money 💰 invested in the squad. In addition some of those players after underperforming have seen their values drop tremendously for example Mykhaylo Mudryk. The best way to recuperate the larger percentage of costs is player exchange. Chelsea also has the 5th largest wage bill in the EPL. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 3:22pm On May 09 |
Napoleon55: Lukaku is good but his style of play is not suited to Arsenal Liverpool and Manchester city. The same goes for VO. Good enough is not the tenable description here, suitability is absolutely intrinsic to a decision of a player being brought in or not. That cannot be ignored or put to one side. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by komekn(m): 3:25pm On May 09 |
chuks404: It's an opinion my opinion not yours . Maybe Liverpool and Arsenal will buy him and you can say I'm wrong. Maybe again Manchester city will drop Haaland and buy VO. If that's your view you are entitled to it . |
