The government should do well to install street lights on the expressways. Driving at night is dangerous in most parts of Lagos due to lack of street lights. During Ambode and Fashola’s time there was adequate street lighting. |

If not for Obj personal grudge with Tinubu LASG wouldn't have any business with power problem but as it is now no any reasons for LASG not to generate her own sufficient power. |

These days, it feels like Lagos is the only state in Nigeria where good news emanate from. Rivers state has spent one year doing nothing but separating egotistical fights between their clueless governor and his predecessor. Edo is sinking into underdevelopment while the top political class is more concerned about taking over government House. Ebonyi and other Southeastern states apart from Anambra (and to some extent, Abia) are going nowhere fast. South-western states are stupidly hiding their backwardness behind almighty Lagos, thinking we can't see their pathetic conditions. As for North... Let me just be looking at those ones and be shaking my head. ![]() Tinubu this, Tinubu that... Yet the massive decline of the nation is largely due to the poor output of most states in the federation. Light a fuse under your governors! Make them sit the fvck up... They aren't working, and it's unacceptably dragging the nation backwards. |

Ogun state is like a dunce that has a smart family friend excelling in studies and making money from selling all tyoe of shit to school mate.Sadly, the thing the dunce only see the use of his friend for involves parties , having fun... nothing else. If this trend continues without Ogun state resident getting serious in changing guards of its political class at helm of afffairs for a serious bunch interested in the development of the state as well as harnessing the most important economic corridor of power in the country. Crossing between lagos and ogun state will be like driving from tennesse through mississipi to alabama.IYKYK Never seen an unfortunate state with 3 dispensation with nothing to show for it. |

Great! The beauty of this is that even if these hubs are not directly serving people and Industries, it will free up the power that the benefiting places would have taken up from the grid. This freed-up power will be made available to the public. |

doggedfighter:It all starts with a plan. The same way Lagos-owned IPPs, blue rail line, red rail line, Lekki Deepsea port, Eko Atlantic city, etc started with just a plan. And were announced in similar manner " Lagos to set up..." Sheuns:Yeah, you are right. The citizens should also perform their role and support law enforcement in the safeguarding of Public assets. Most of the infrastructure (cables and electrical fittings) for street lights are stolen. While driving early in the morning around 4am, I once came across one useless vandal with pliers trying to steal part of the cable and breaker for a street light pole in Ikoyi. He was just struggling and struggling with the thing and looking left and right. By the time I made a U-turn ahead and came back, the useless thief has taken off. I read with utter shock and disbelief on this Nairaland the useless thief that has already gone to remove cat-eye lane markers on the recently refurbished 3rd Mainland bridge. That person is a demon and must be dealt with beyond the wrath of the law. The only road in Lagos that one drives on and is comparable to standard roads all-over the world. Already, they have started vandalising it and same evil people will be bad-mouthing the govt and its infrastructure drive. |
