Your first salary or whatever salary belongs to you and no one else.You can give some to a family member but they are not entitled to it.The worst is giving it out to a pastor or any god of man in the name of more blessings or tithings.That is like letting oneself to be scammed knowingly.l have a feeling that such paranoa is widespread and also encouraged only in Nigeria.

Ive seen this news elsewhere and the majority of those who disagreed are females.

Why are women always so sold out to pastors? The common response from them: "I'll give my pastor or my spiritual father because he prays for me" 😂
Are your own parents not praying for you? Just because they don't make a show of it. Nobody loves and prays and wishes you well like or more than your parents. Not your pastor, not your spiritual daddy.

He (pastor) takes what you give him and trains his own children because no One also loves his own children more than him.
Is this logic simple enough?

Such prophets were do they get their powers? From God or Juju? They get it from juju, and juju they use to perform those rotten miracles are from the idols our forefathers served, the native doctor giving such pastors power to do such miracles, is he not also corrupt to the traditional religion he practices?
So what exactly are the fruits that you watch out for?
How do you differentiate if a pastor's power is from juju or God?

Our people have been led astray and turned away from their own family in the name of religion.

Papa wey train pikin never chop, but pastor dey ask for first fruit.
Mama dey call im sixty years old husband John, but 27years old pastor na Daddie 😀.

KOK's postulation, like the injunctions of the pastorpreneurs is not a natural law or part of any Igbo tradition I know of, but I'd rather it, than give my money to strangers because they said their god commands it.
Walk with your parents and gain their blessings.

What these pentecostal business center have inflicted on Ndigbo will take a generation to repair..........imagine a yoruba pastor in rccg asking me to wait for their approval before marrying my wife.........even when I have her Papa and mama approval! It is one thing to go through a church marriage counseling......it is another thing to stand in majestrium over consenting adults with family consent!

We go soon begin a weeding out process for these organizations!

My father did not take all my first salary. He only requested me to reserve N1000 for him..yes N1k. You see that N1k, he dividend into 50k notes and took it to ALL family members wherever they were in Lagos State. I.received.loads of prayers and well wishes. At least, my dad did that for me. I hope to do same for children, God willing Amen. It is not all that should be given to daddy but you can show him the envelope, which I did. He.knew i. had needs too of course

You are having a point... A pastor who is really a pastor will watch over his congregation like his own family... I have seen a very great man of God, after bible studies in the church, he used his car to carry the few members that don't have cars and told his family, his wife and son to wait for him or they start to trek till he comes to meet them on the road...
