The truth is that a lot of Nigerians - including graduates - don't know how to use the word "borrow". I read up to your post and every other poster kept making the same mistake.

For the avoidance of doubt, you don't borrow someone money/something. You LEND someone money/something. But you can borrow money/something FROM someone.
