Guirassy too did and scored more goals! So will he make the top 3.

Like I said it is still a long way to go however with Alonzo penchant for rotation, it might adversely affect Boniface chance!
Longneck:
Boniface is in the Bundesliga team of the season

He will definitely make top 3

Hakimi ghosted? Not at all! They were unlucky against SA and Hakimi put in a tremendous performance.
Struck the post twice against Dortmund-- a defender for that matter!
Boniface injury and Alonzo penchant for rotation will damage Boni's chance greatly.
CAF respect Champions League more than any competition and Hakimi, and Osi were African best performer there.
For now, however there is still a long way to go!

Note:
Osimhen move to Chelsea will damage his chances (No Champions laegue)
Boni have to win his place back and perform well in next year's Champions league.
Lookman has to play Champions league next season to keep the number 1 spot!
Hakimi is in a good spot!

chrisooblog:
HakiWHAT? Why should a ghost worker in AFCON, Ghost worker in UCL, and a activity former in Ligue 1 be worthy of a APOTY nomination?

Salah has a big shout but I think Lookman, Osimhen, and Boniface could take it.

Kudus, Guirrasey, and maybe Haller deserve honourable mentions.

10 goals with trophy is greater than 50 goals with no trophy

You forgot to add that Hakimi also missed a crucial penalty in that match

Or maybe you have been too woke to understand basic English!
Top 10 for now! CAF does not rate Europa, if they do Bouno and El-Nesry would have made the top 3 last APOTY.

Which lie did you burst? Did he contribute anything against Roma? Maybe next time you should have the patience to ask questions! He wasn't even nominated when he was the competition highest goal scorer last season. Relax and learn.

Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen. It has been a long time coming. Since the days of Ballack, Basturk, Ze Roberto, Ojigwe and co. I hope they are all celebrating the finals and give this final push a big fight.

Props Xabi Alonso

And Congratulations TheSuperNerd. You really believed these guys.

All cheers. All hail...

It is not about just winning. It is about your contribution to it. Just 10 goals is poor in a league where the top and 2nd scorer are on 36 and 25 goals respectively. APOTY doesn't work that way!

It's not just winning Bundesliga there is the DFB Pokal and the Europa league

All guirassy has is goals which is not enough
There is a reason why Boniface made the team of the season even when he have fewer goals
If it's just goals then Boniface wouldn't have made the team of the season

I have answered you already. The question remains; Will Alonzo play him?
His contributions as at now is not good enough for APOTY top 3. Top 10 yes! But top 3? No!

This is nothing.

Xabi Alonso went to Bayern Munich to learn Guardiola's method.

All these una arguments about who wins or who deserves APOTY does not matter to CAF.

CAF always follow the same pattern, which is to wait for Ballon d'or list to come out,who ever is on top of the list wins it.
this time won't be any different.

Boniface seems be the highest rated among all African players for now,he is likely to top the Ballon d'or list of African players.

When Guirassy is there? The highest scoring African in the top 5 leagues.
Scored again today. That is 26 goalsss!!
Hakimi & Osimhen will even be higher!

Guirassy has 25 goals in the same Bundesliga. Boniface was not at the AFCON. Contributed little to nothing to Leverkusen passage to the Europa final. Might be in the top 10 but definitely not top 3. APOTY is about your contribution to your team's success at the top level!
Hakimi was at AFCON and contributed to PSG domestic league win and Champions league's push. Worthy!

Una forget haller of Borrusia Dortmund
