Atiku made the biggest blunder of his political career by not supporting Ekwueme for President in 2003..
At the time, Ekwueme promised to make Atiku his running mate and hand over to Atiku in 2007. But after initially ‘threatening’ to run against OBJ, Atiku decided at the last minute to back OBJ (after OBJ had to beg and beg for his support).

Not knowing that a retired General really never forgets any humiliating encounter, Atiku naively thought that OBJ would let bygones be bygones. But OBJ ended up basically ending Atiku’s career by 2006/2007.

If Atiku had backed Ekwueme to the end, he would have been president from 2007-2015.

lol, you are assuming Ekwueme would win in 2003, dreams can come true.

Why would he self sabotage? Also Churches and Mosque have charity status, so they are not taxed. So if I donate funds to the Mosque or give Alfa money for prayers that money should be taxed? Soon una go sey make Tinubu tax funds given to side chicks or relatives.

People give their money on the own freewill, if they are smart enough to work and earn the money they are definitely smart enough to donate where they deem fit, Smart advice would be to tax their luxury consumptions such as PJs.
😁
But this same Nigerian churches abroad pay tax, at least i am sure of those in UK and they also declare their accounts publicly.

Ekwueme wont defeat OBJ in 2003 and how did you actually expect a politician to believe a President will do one term and forgo the other term based on some agreement? Even GEJ didnt honor such agreement in 2015.

Atiku major Bleep up was impatience. If you aim for the King, you better not miss.

Ekwueme had a plausible chance of winning that primary because most PDP governors were firmly in the pocket of Atiku. And those governors would have followed Atiku’s instructions on who to vote for at the primary

If Tinubu Govt make any attempt to impose tax on any religious Organisation, a major group will scream Islamization agenda while the other major group will accuse him of being a fake Muslim. But Tinubu have ballz according to Dayo, let him use that ballz to impose tax on this pastorpreneur or Alfas making mad money off their members...

Touching the tax exempt status of religious organization will bring the downfall of any govt that relies on votes

People are sentimental about religion, He never do that one dem don claim say na religions war and yes daddy

And why will Atiku trust Ekwueme to run just for 4years, Have you seen any politician who ran just for 4yrs and willingly dropped out like they always promise when rubbing for their first term?

In 2003, Atiku had the option of sticking with OBJ who has 4 more years constitutionally or going for Ekwueme who will start his own 4yrs and constitutionally have 8yrs

No be so power reach OBJ and GEJ hand and he changed it for them all

What game Atiku and Obi dey play now by visiting themselves? If na alignment then both of them are fools. When it was obvious that they should have done that in 2023 before Power reach Tinubu hand. Now any alignment will be harder as they have to unseat an incumbent

people can hate bola tinubu all they want, but the man was able to instill unit discipline

Atiku thought he would be able to dollarize the APC primaries as is his way

also if i recall, he was out dollarized by GEJ in 2011
