SpartaOfLagos: U are wrong. Oyo state is never a worst state in the South west. Even before this time, when it comes to development in the South west region, After Lagos state, Oyo state is next. Late Abiola Ajimobi is architect of modern Oyo state. Makinde followed is blueprint. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/348747-some-of-ajimobis-policies-were-really-good-governor-makinde.html?tztc=1 |

AuthorMan: The Nigerian civil engineers are also on these same projects as sub contractors and consultants. No crime in making findings before dishing out what you know nothing about. Thank you Before you say anything, I'm the site manager |

Movichabiodun: Nice You sound offended. But I am still on the same point. You and I know Chinese Companies get the major cut. My point is why must it be so when we have Civil engineers that can compete with the world standards. Every major contracts belong to them. People like you answer to them. Is it a lie? |
Re: Reconstruction Of The Bridge At Odo Ona Kekere, Ibadan (Pictures) by Movichabiodun(m): 10:28am On May 15 |
AuthorMan: No boss I was never offended. There are clauses attached to these construction contracts and most of these Chinese companies are owned by their government. Lack of finances and machines hinders Nigerian engineers. There's more to all these you guys are seeing outside But still, most of these works are not totally carried out by these Chinese |

The reconstruction of the bridge at Odo Ona Kekere, located along Ijebu Ode Road in Ibadan, is part of a larger flood control initiative supported by the World Bank and implemented by the Oyo State Government through the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (Project https://projects.worldbank.org/en/projects-operations/project-detail/P130840 ID: P130840 - Total Project Cost 1 US$ 220.00 million). The project began with the demolition of the old bridge in November 2023, and the new structure is a 90-meter-long bridge designed to improve flood resilience in the area. The reconstruction is one of several projects aimed at mitigating flooding in Ibadan, addressing issues such as inadequate drainage and the indiscriminate disposal of waste, which have historically exacerbated flooding problems. The bridge project is expected to be completed by May 2024, alongside other infrastructure improvements like the Odo Ona Kekere-Arapaja-Asunle Road rehabilitation . Analytics provided by Marketing.i3 agency - https://marketing.i3.com.ua/ It's already May, where is the bridge? |

Port Harcourt has consistently been rated as one of Nigeria's top cities for many years. It is also significant that Ibadan hosted Nigeria's first university, television station, radio station, skyscraper, and stadium. Ibadan is not only the largest city in West Africa but also the second largest on the African continent. Moreover, it is unique in its seamless process of enthroning new kings ETC. Gerard28: |
