Does anyone have firsthand experience with both Tritek & RYK for Business Analysis/Project Management and Scrum Master/Product Owner trainings?

Are they too good to be true?

I'm leaning towards one based on their responsiveness and customer service but it's not enough to know who's a better provider.

I'd appreciate any personal testimonies or experiences.

I am currently on a graduate visa due to expire December 2025. I have 7 years experience in the accounting world in Nigeria. And I have been working for more than one year with a charity organisation (paid volunteer) here in UK.
However, practically all my applications have been met with unfortunately feedback.

Firstly, thanks for your earlier advice. I have reached out to the HR and we agreed to move resumption forward. I don come again with questions, please pardon me. The opinions I do get here with my personal research have always helped me to make some informed decisions.

This is my second year here in Uk and I really need candid advice especially from people in finance. Which sector is more preferable between Consulting and IT in terms of job security and career progressions in the UK ? I recently accepted an offer with a Consulting firm although I would be working with in-house finance team and just got another better offer with an IT company as a senior finance accountant which I also accepted with the intention to reach out to the former that I would not be able to resume again but while discussing with a close friend and wife , they both advised I stay with the consulting because of the job security. I really want to be stable and gain considerable years of experience in UK as I have always been a job hopper .

I am also very careful because I was in a Year FTC which I was already promised a renewal of contract when it was just 2 month to finish but later got a No when it’s 3 weeks to finish that there’s no enough budget and lotta finance transformation is on going.
I need more opinions as both roles are in London and align to my skill, experience and career aspirations. I do not want to make any mistake because Job market seems saturated. Thanks

Congratulations, was in your shoes few months ago.
Consulting is based on availability of client projects. Having tasted both worlds, I prefer in-house. Though you grow faster in consulting but there was massive layoffs last year at Deloitte and PWC that even people they brought in on Tier2 were affected.

Permanent In-house gives peace of mind, not saying there can’t be layoffs but sometimes they may move you to another dept.

In all, follow the one that gives you peace😉

So others are getting interviews because of bribery? That’s such a presumptuous and careless statement to make. If you are getting a lot of rejection emails from the NHS, perhaps you are not doing something correctly. Most of the people I know who got a job with the NHS not only took their time to answer the questions correctly, but they went the extra mile by emailing the contact information at the bottom of the job posting.

Completely irrelevant to your job search.

Focus on your CV and performing well at interviews. If you're qualified and do well, you'll get a role.

It’s really tough out there, bro. Just keep pushing, tailor your CV, and do target searches on LinkedIn, basically search for companies, universities, councils etc and filter for their current job postings. Don’t put that you are a paid volunteer staff on your CV.

Your chance is limited if you are not a qualified accountant. However, whether you are qualified or not, you need an opportunity to gain work experience. So please target Interim accounting role or a contract role. It is easier to get an interim role either to fill in a role due to maternity or sickness and build your exposure and work experience. Once you have 6 months in real accounting world, then employer will trust you

I would tell you what I do and have done many times over. Works for me and should work for you or anyone else.

Just create different accounting job categories based on specific job requirements, preferred locations, industry etc on LinkedIn (now has industry categories), Indeed and CV-Library. Setup alerts and notifications and the moment jobs are posted, they drop in your mail.

You would need to have multiple CVs tailored to suit/match the key words for the different roles advertised that you have relevant experience for. This is to ensure it gets filtered when ran through ATS.

Regret mails would come, yes, but all you need is just one or two to setup an interview for you to shine!

Don't ever use one CV with generic key words to apply for multiple job adverts (a lazy man's approach). The result is an unending pool of regret mails.

Keep pushing and be meticulous about it. All the best.

Usually, at the bottom of any NHS job posting, be it on LinkedIn or Reed, there’ll be a listing of the contact person for the job. When you apply, send a short, polite email to them letting them know that you applied for this job, add your application details, and attach your CV.

Some people may be doing unwholesome things. You need to endeavour to do the right thing.
It is very important to present yourself in your CV as a skilled worker, expatriate and a Health & Care professional. It will do you a great disservice if you fail to clearly differentiate between a Skilled Worker Visa and a CoS visa.
