I will be very brief with my assertion.

I have worked for few firms and what i have noticed over the years is that most nigeria companies and organizations seriously cheat and underpay their workers.

I have seen lot of men labour all their lives thinking the conventional ways of hustling would pay off. But nah most of them are living from hand to mouth today.

I have some classified documents where multinational firms pays their nigerian contractors like 400k for each workers and this excludes bonuses and leave allowances but the nigerian contractors are paying their workers less than 100k.

Why is this so? How do you expect their lives to improve? How do you expect them not to steal and manipulate their ways out too?

Exactly, you would see these men in their luxurious vehicles and posh houses yet their workers are languishing in extreme poverty.

I wouldn't want to mention their names yet because you know how cruel these men are. They are evil men in posh suits.

In as much as i understand companies must make profit for their trying efforts over the years and there are also challenges of Tax, Settlement and Kickbacks. But still they need to be kind to their workers. How would workers in management level not have HMO, Bonuses, Allowances and Mobility Expenses. Yet the Multinational Firms pays them for all these things. Nigerians are extremely wicked.

But i will give you a clue. This practice is very rampant in Manufacturing sectors and Telecom sectors.

The former security guard we employed where I live once told me that his company charged our house 130k. But what they pay him is just 30k and they keep 100k for themselves. He even told me that even the 30k isn't constant, cos they still delay his salary.

Most contracted jobs in Nigeria are nothing but slavery. Cos the contractor wouldn't mind keeping more than 70% of your labour for himself.
