Lazy youths. Instead of them to start something productive, learn a trade, go into farming. They will rather be creating some stupidity online. If your landlord setup rules you don't like, move out instead of creating nuisance

A day after I packed in , I decided to wash my car . The land Lord's wife called me and said I was using too much water. And the Land Lord came out said I have wetted the ground of the compound . That I should henceforth take the car outside the compound to wash. Then I knew I had entered one chance.

Soakaway should not be filled because of washing of clothes. Maybe, your soakaway was not constructed properly.

There are of two,
1. Is septic tank
2. Soakaway


The septic tank is constructed in a way that anything that goes into it can't get away till it is filled unlike soakaway... As the name implies, it soak away anything that goes into it.

Septic tank are mostly used in areas that are sandfilled and not a natural land...

But as a sensible tenant,there are things you shouldn't do cuz you should be wise and mature enough to know they aren't right......

It was a face me face you compound. About 16 rooms and more than 40 occupants. The Land lady said the toilet should only be flushed once a day. Reason is that frequent pouring water inside the toilet will cause the soak away to full.

Gate to be closed by 10pm,

This is dirtiness... no wonder you guys area is always smelling... you must be from lagos or Ibadan.

I arrived my friend house around 11pm. He was yet to arrive from official trip. Landlord came out with double barrel gun. I was lucky one of the lady corper my friend housed confirmed that he mentioned it to her that in case he didn't come back as expected, a friend may come around.

Ok so I wanted to rent this apartment and the landlady said, I've gotta be working for government, submit my work ID, must be married, if I am not then must introduce one girl to her and no any other female can visit aside the one I introduced to her, I laughed and asked her, am I paying for the house rent or I am staying for free? She replied 'my house, my rules' told her to 'shove it in her a$$ and left


Later got a better house, hers is still vacant and waiting on a simp that will swallow all that terms

If you had a landlady, just abandon your rent and move out. You've not found an apartment and peace of mind is far 4rm you

I once lived in an apartment where the landlord said 'No generator'. Funny enough, he didn't inform me before-hand. It was after I packed in and was unloading, he saw my generator and told me about the rule.


I calmly told him that I've heard and will abide. That rule prompted me to construct an iron cage for my generator. Any time it's hot, I'll just turn on my generator, enter my house and turn the music so loud that ain't gonna hear sh1t. He shouted, cussed and threatened fire & brimstone. For where? His children too threatened but I stood my ground.

Once he brought Policemen and we went to the station, nothing happened. Even he too knew nothing would come out of it when the Police people too turned on their gen for the D.P.O.

The Baba got tired and resigned to fate. He said he'll evict me after my rent expired, too bad I paid for 2 years.

After that incident, every other tennant became inspired and started using their generators. When our transformer got spoilt and the heat became unbearable, even Oga Landlord too bought a brand new generator. We all went to congratulate him for finally joining the clique. Las las, I and Baba became good friends until I left the compound about 4 years later.
