OnyeAshuaUru:You were not specific. For context, in the last one year, the following has been achieved: Ongoing Construction of over 100 smart schools. Ongoing Construction of 35 Smart school. Water reticulation in Enugu City. Reconstruction of 71 roads in Enugu city. Development of a new Enugu City. Ongoing Construction of Holy Ghost, Gariki, Abakpa and Nsukka Terminals. Employment of over 100 doctors. And many others in their planning stages. What else do you want? |

christejames:As expected, the entire Phone section of Ogige Market has been asked to move to Aku road. That part of Ogige will give way for the Bus Terminal. UBA Enugu Road is likely to be affected too but I am yet to confirm this |

Digitron:Why is that repetition in the screenshot so implicative? And did you really list the so-called terminals we read about the clearing of their spaces few days as what the governor achieved in his first year? And 71 roads in Enugu City? Why only in Enugu City? And how come you could only posts those shoddy jobs that folks have been using to mock the administration on Facebook?

| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Digitron: 10:52pm On May 18, 2024 |
OnyeAshuaUru:My bad. The smart schools should be comprehensive health centres. The roads in Enugu city was prioritised to give the city a proper facelift. What do you call shoddy Jobs? Roads are built based on the loads they are expected to carry. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:The clown could still be in his Facebook page insulting his village people and hoping that Peter Mba rewards him for that. |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by OnyeAshuaUru: 11:27pm On May 18, 2024 |
Digitron:A government press release itself confirms that only one of the so-called smart schools has been built, and that is in the governor's village, despite that over 30% of the State's 2024 budget was reportedly earmarked for education. This basically means that only an empty school hall is the only thing the government of Peter Mba has achieved in the education sector (or probably all sectors) as it approaches the end of its first year in office despite allocating billions to the sector. If I am wrong, please share pictures of at least three of these smart schools, or direct me to any site of the 100 schools in either Igbo Eze North or Igbo Eze South LGAs as these are my area. Thanks in advance. |

OnyeAshuaUru:Gburus is the worst thing that have happened to enugu state. Man is a big disgrace to we ndi Nsukka. Someone who spent 8 years in govt but couldn't even grant any interview to the media. Pensions and gratituies were owned , doing the peak of UGM attack in enugu, he locked himself and block the road leading to the govt house. Man couldn't even attract any single FDI in 8 years , some that were attracted to enugu closed down under him. Man was so timid and was beret of ideas to run enugu. He used govt offices to settle his cronies. Mbah is already ahead of him just this first year alone. Don't make it nsk vs nkanu fight, even his orba people rejected him, that's to show you that he was a big failure. |

Govt needs to move that prison out of that side and use that land for something better. Akwata and ogbete needs to be remodeled and that entire area needs to be remodeled to look like something close to CBD. A market like computer village needs to be built at that new market side in enugu. I hope mbah looks into this |

oilykid:Reminds me of when my friend who was councilor in Enugu-North at the time warning someone not to buy a land around Akwatta because according to the original map of akwatta, that place was supposed to be the location of a modern abattoir. In his words, "One day, a Pharoah who does not know Joseph will remember that we don't have any modern abattoir in any of our markets". |

oilykid:On Pension and Gratuity: The problem was inherited from Chime and Chima. FDI: During his time, he attracted a tiles company at Ezeagu and another 60 million USD investment by Nigerian Brewery at 9th mile. |

Digitron:Chief, you couldn't post three out of the 100 smart schools Peter Mba has built across Enugu State, and you couldn't direct me to an active site of these projects within two local government areas. But here, you are gleefully announcing another self-gratifying project that solves no nagging need of the locality but rather destabilises hundreds of small businesses and fills the purse of Mba and his contractor friends. Even if the so-called terminal trumps the Ogige market in significance, what happened to building a permanent site first? Mba's idea of entrepreneurship is getting free billions to float an oil company, so he would forever see businesses rising from nothing as worthless entities. But I don't expect you, Digitron, to think that way too. |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Digitron: 11:14am On May 20, 2024 |
OnyeAshuaUru:Chairman, Smart school is ongoing at Ezzi Iheakpu Awka in Igbo Eze South, Ovoko in Igbo Eze South and Ogurugu. These are the sites I am sure off but I am sure there are over 100 active sites across the state |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by crossfm: 11:19am On May 20, 2024 |
Digitron:I just hope so. A committee should be in place to resolve the issue of compensation first before going on with the demolition. I know how government treat people, most especially as regards compensation. Those shops must mean a lot to the owners. Development is a welcome idea, but doing it the right way matters. |

Money that Mbah is wasting building these grandiose motorparks and paying compensation to demolished businesses would have provided badly needed water to the hapless residents of coal camp, abakpa, obiagu, uwani, Ogui l/o, Ngenevu, Idaw river, awkunanaw and indeed 80percent of Enugu town that are reeling under the weight of shylock water traders. |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by OnyeAshuaUru: 9:01pm On May 22, 2024 |
Ezewuzie01:He's done milking the water scarcity pain point, and failed woefully at it; so, it's time to move over to another meaty white elephant. It's never about solving any problem: apparently it's all about how much the project puts in Peter Mba's pockets. The grandiose motor parks promise a perfect job at this, while also serving a perfect meal for the Hallelujah boys to sing over. |
