And did you really list the so-called terminals we read about the clearing of their spaces few days as what the governor achieved in his first year? And 71 roads in Enugu City? A government press release itself confirms that only one of the so-called smart schools has been built, and that is in the governor's village, despite that over 30% of the State's 2024 budget was reportedly earmarked for education. This basically means that only an empty school hall is the only thing the government of Peter Mba has achieved in the education sector (or probably all sectors) as it approaches the end of its first year in office despite allocating billions to the sector. If I am wrong, please share pictures of at least three of these smart schools, or direct me to any site of the 100 schools in either Igbo Eze North or Igbo Eze South LGAs as these are my area. Are you not concerned about how low our state has continued to descend when it comes to HDIs? It's a shocking thing to me that those who should know better are busy clapping for another do-nothing administration in Enugu. Very soon, they will start posting pictures of roofs in Independence Layout as evidence of a working administration while the rest of the state rot away in squalor. It's a shameful thing that our measure of development has become the houses of people who probably left Enugu to hustle in other states or abroad because of perennial dearth of economic opportunities.

Govt needs to move that prison out of that side and use that land for something better. Akwata and ogbete needs to be remodeled and that entire area needs to be remodeled to look like something close to CBD. A market like computer village needs to be built at that new market side in enugu. I hope mbah looks into this

Reminds me of when my friend who was councilor in Enugu-North at the time warning someone not to buy a land around Akwatta because according to the original map of akwatta, that place was supposed to be the location of a modern abattoir.

In his words, "One day, a Pharoah who does not know Joseph will remember that we don't have any modern abattoir in any of our markets".

All the South East governors did the same thing. In fact Uzodinma was moving with convoy of ( armoured personel carriers) you will think he's going to war. Obiano also blocked the road leading to governors lodge in Amawbia from eke-awka.

I admire the optimism of anyone thinking the ‘federal gov’t’ will be interested in completing the international terminal at AIIA! Even if they do manage to recommence works at the terminal, they certainly wouldn’t give the construction the adequate funds and attention needed to finish it quickly and according to spec!

Even if the so-called terminal trumps the Ogige market in significance, what happened to building a permanent site first?
Mba's idea of entrepreneurship is getting free billions to float an oil company, so he would forever see businesses rising from nothing as worthless entities. But I don't expect you, Digitron, to think that way too.

Chairman, Smart school is ongoing at Ezzi Iheakpu Awka in Igbo Eze South, Ovoko in Igbo Eze South and Ogurugu.

These are the sites I am sure off but I am sure there are over 100 active sites across the state

A committee should be in place to resolve the issue of compensation first before going on with the demolition.

I know how government treat people,most especially as regards compensation. Those shops must mean a lot to the owners.
