MY friend, if ENDSARS happened under army rule, there would be BODIES. As in, dead bodies all over, plus mass information blackout. About a 100 fatalites in this time, would reach 500 under army rule.

The only time when times were good was in the 1973-82 period...and it left us with a hefty debt and an economic crisis we haven't recovered from, because we spent, spent, spent, and spent.

Food was cheap back then because it was subsidised...until 1984, when the Buhari government was forced to remove subsides because oil income had been crashing for 2 years and counting by then. Prices went up.

Omo, NIgeria has never had good leaders, millitary or civilian , because of the resource curse. Even now.
