Hey,

N20,000 for ordinary bread irrespective of the brand is way too high.

Do you know that bread is just like an appetizer for men? As for me, once I eat bread, it would seem I've not eaten anything yet...That's why I prefer swallow with nice soup filled with condiments.

I believe it's only women and children that loves bread.

That cash is enough to buy like N3000 food in a fast food, N2000 for two bottles of chilled beer, N2000 for short time with a babe, N2000 for data subscription, N4000 for transport fare for the week and the remaining cash to make soup with garri for the week.

Buying a loaf of bread for N20k is just to impress people but your budget and pocket go hear am.

Cheers!
True talk. I don't joke with swallow

White only estate?

Here in this Lagos?? Hehe. Mewa n sele.

What is even the justification you're writing down there? undecided
What part do you have issues understanding? I clearly said an estate occupied by whites, oyinbo, caucasians. Their food is ordered and delivered to them, they have storages in 40 foot refrigerated containers, their communal chefs, cooks are all white. The only place you see naija folks is at the entrance gate house, the chief security officers and their security team. The rest of the place na oyinbo. Maybe they have domestic Nigerian workers, but I never saw them.

See, some products are flown into the country daily and supplied to high end exclusive supermarkets, restaurants, personal orders. Do you know, cheese, ice cream, salad, salmon, ham, bacon, already prepared meals from high end restaurants in eg France, pizza made to order from Italy delivered to people here in naija?
This bread could have baked in France in the morning then flown to naija and on the shelf that evening.
I know all this because I have been approached few years ago by some Lebanese to arrange logistics for such cargo. I have even delivered some to some exclusive white only estate somewhere at eleko.
Na such supermarkets, when they make it private, Nigerians will come out to shout foreigners are stopping them from entering. When you enter and see what you cannot afford nko? Na to de take picture come de post online.
White only estate in Nigeria? Something that can't happen abroad. The things we permit to our detriment are shocking.

The exact part where you implied only white people are allowed to live there, and your asinine justification of it being "unaffordable" to Nigerians.

So Nigerians are fit for being their domestic and low-income workers, but they can never "aspire" to be a home-owner there? And you see the sense in that?

I love Brioche bread. It makes the best French toast. so for some people they can’t buy another type of bread except this whenever they need to make French toast

However it’s just a different type of bread. The Nigerian bakers need to go to YouTube university and learn how to make it. No reason why it should cost significantly more than other types of bread when they all take similar time and effort to make

In this present economy? Even Ibadan gbegiri soup dey cost to prepare now. Ordinary white beans na something else. I wish the youths could just troop out and demand for their rights. But how can they? Their mentality has been turned upside down. Apologies to the very few who are still in their normal senses.

The most unhealthy bread out there.
60% sugar.
I will rather buy agege than this.
Twice I bought it, nobody ate it. Even kids complained it's just sugar.
It’s great for French toast. The egg wash adds a nice balance that tones down the sweetness

And artesano brand is the best one among all of them IMO. If you find it, try that brand first before you completely give up on brioche

I agree. Agege bread is simply the best bread that can be eaten by itself.
Every bread I’ve tried needed something to make it complete

After lieing, you ended up exposing your lies. Any bread with more than 3 days shelf life is low quality bread. At most 5 days. Like I said, you're an unfortunate lier

Bread I eat every day. I'm even tired of eating Brioche bread. Bought like four two days ago.

Very sweet and nutritious.

Brioche bread can stay up to a month without getting spoilt. You won't notice a change in taste or colour for up to a month.

Best bread ever made.

Nothing like poverty here. There are people here who can comfortably buy it, but they have priorities which does not include an overpriced loaf of bread

Truly...

Most of us spend more than that on booze in one sitting...

Not a bread fan though. Years could pass and I wouldn't miss the thing. If na jhus me, therely be no bread in all of existence.. shocked

But great things like eba and semovita, I always bless the geniuses that discovered those foods with their accompanying soups...

I from my observation, it seems to be a former resort, bought or leased by those expertates. It could be their company owns the facility. I do not think it is the regular place like eg Amen estate. It is rather seems a big compound for their exclusive use.
Eg chevron having only American workers and they live alone in a gated community. It is not like where you can go buy houses.
