Do you have any resource or documents I can look into, that talks about the punishment (and curse) of those women (which relates to them being sirens of the oceans and seas)?

In the book of jasher, there's some creatures called "duceephath" dont known if i spelt it rightly....very weird looking as per the description.

my sincere believe is that the evidence of the existence of mermaids is overwhelming,the first drawing of a mermaid is found in a stone age cave in Egypt that dated 30,000 years ago,since then all civilizations from the Greeks,Assyrians,Babylonians,japanese, Chinese,Normans,Europeans, Phoenicia,just about every ancient civilizations have sighted and drawn images from eyewitness accounts,this cannot be coincidence considering that only 5% of the Earth's oceans has been explored it is highly probably that the existence of such is possible,there is also a documentary on natgeo called mermaids I watched years back,this is an interesting scientific research about the issue by scientists themselves

even the early explorers that rediscovered the Americas all have documented eyewitness accounts of mermaids sight,the first is Christopher Columbus who was the first European to step foot on American soil sighted mermaids with his ships crew off the coast of Dominica in 1453,captain Henry Hudson also one of the first to reach Canada sighted mermaids in 1608,also captain James Smith the founder of the first colony in America also saw and documented mermaids sighting off the west indies in 1611,also during the reign of emperor Augustus Caesar the governor of gallica was informed of such creatures that were washed dead on shore and he wrote a letter to the emperor and a naturalist Pliny the elder was despatched to investigate and his findings were documented in his Magnus opus,now some skeptics may say those are manatees but that will be difficult to accept because this sighting are not seen by the captain alone but by old experienced deck hands and ship crews that has sailed the oceans all their life's that it is impossible they have not seen manatees before that they will mistake it for a mermaid,also the fact about the size of the oceans which is 70% of the whole earth surface is huge,that even the world tallest mountains and mountain ranges like the mid Atlantic ridge or eurasia plate that stretch from the arctic to the antarctic has mountains that are easily 40,000 feet high in the oceans deep without breaking surface,mount everest is just roughly 29,000+ feet high,just image the size and vastness of the oceans,it will not be hard to believe that anything is possible
