Use your heads. President Tinubu CANNOT dictate the salaries of Senators or Representatives. They are a separate, independent and self-financing arm of government. They can even impeach the President. The President cannot even determine Judges salary. If the NLC is not happy with their pay, then they should face them. They should not make the rest of us pay for their beef with Senators or the National Assembly. Ask for something reasonable, like ₦75,000, and almost 100% of the populace will support you. |

Do whatever you have to do. Just make sure you increase the wage to at least 100k. Senators earns at least 32millon naira and legislators earning at least 27millon every month and you have the guts to be begging workers to accept 60k minimum wage. Mumu Akpabio dey beg workers to accept the 60k while he feeds his dog every month with over 500k. I no just like the man, na the dullest senate president in recent times. |

as recommended as National Minimum Wage is N48,000.00. So,the yearly salary is N48,000.00 x 12 = N576,000.00. Remember, Yearly Salary of Nigerian Senator = N353,756,988.00 (Three hundred fifty-three Million, seven hundred and fifty-six thousand, nine hundred and eighty eight Naira. Proportion: N353,756,988.00/ N576,000.00 = 614.2 It will take an average Nigerian worker 614 years to earn the Yearly Salary of a Nigerian Senator. |

The issue on ground is beyond 60k as the least take home for the workers... But present economy downfall is totally hitting up the masses including the government workers, so I urge the government to do the needful by raising the bar above the 60k, probably 100k ... God bless Nigeria |

Left for the Federal Government and Sub Nationals, they can afford to pay 100k from the Subsidy Removal Revenue which majority of the Governors have been chopping in the last one year without nothing reasonable to show for it. But the private sector are to be considered as well because they also have to start paying whatever that would be agreed on. All these while, the Organize Private Sector are the ones pegging the proposed wage at 60k which they can afford. This matter just tie wrapper as it is, but let's see the final outcome. |
