Please I need help on what to do.

I did my TB screening at St Nicholas hospital for 60,000 naira. The x-ray results came out as abnormal due to my past tb treatment during COVID era. Now st. Nicholas is referring me to do sputum test and I'm to pay a new fee of 115,750 naira for the sputum test after the initial 60k.

Please is that how it's been done. I mean the charges. Almost amounting to 180k

Go to LUTH and do sputum test.

It's for My UK study. LUTH is not one of the approved centres

Maybe, that I'd what they charge. Since it's an approved centre, i dont think you can get it less in other approved centres too.

UK government been partnering with Nigerian company to dey extort Nigerians on Nigerian soil....


They started that nonsense years back through IOM that was charging 150$, which was N56,800 back them .....now Nigerian company has joined them charging 60k for TB test wey Dem dey do for 8k for LUTH and treat for free

It's only a matter of time before they update it to the new exchange rate like they did for IELTS.....

Lagos hospitals have been cashing out on things like this for a long time. I did TB test at a private vaccine center in Ilorin not more than N10k - N15k last year. I was given an injection on my hand and came back for examination after 48 hrs for a TB confirmation examination.

Please how long did it take to get your result? I did mine with my husband's on Friday and he got his that same Friday but I haven't gotten mine till now.
