Hi Guys 👋 Please help

Recently, I encountered a troubling issue with my 2010 Mercedes-Benz C300. Approximately five days ago, I noticed a significant reduction in acceleration while driving; despite pressing the pedal, the engine would rev without corresponding acceleration. Initially suspecting a faulty fuel pump, I replaced it, but the problem persisted.

Two days ago, while driving, my vehicle gradually lost power until I had to park it. After a short wait, I restarted the engine, and although it moved, the power continued to diminish slowly, allowing me just enough to get home. Seeking a resolution, I took the car for a diagnostic scan, which revealed error codes P0894, P0732, P0735, and P0606, all indicating transmission slipping and gear issues.

Upon checking the transmission fluid, I found it low and refilled it to the appropriate level, yet the issue remained. My technician, unsure of the exact problem, suggested various potential fixes, but I am keen to avoid a trial-and-error approach. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a definitive solution? Kindly share

so you drove your car with transmission oil way below the recommended level? Don't you usually take your car in for regular servicing? Don’t you check your fluids levels ?

Anyway, try getting the car rescanned, tell the mechanic to clear the fault codes, to see if they re-appear …

Your car might be leaking oil on top of the exhaust pipe or exhaust manifold

I've been using Mobil 1000 xhp 8litres 20W-50 for my w211 , m112 engine and no worries at all. I change at every 5k to 7k miles

By 8litres that means it's it two you will buy abi? Of 5 litres each?

Guys I am really enjoying my E320 2004 model...the car is a beat on the road. But of recent it feels like the car is dancing when I am on a bad road(Ikorodu standard kind of road) but I can't really understand why but last week I didn't use AC and so I was able to hear all the noise outside and I keep hearing this embarrassing squeaky sound when I am inside my street. The noise seems to be coming from the back tires. Please is something wrong with the suspension?

Good morning. Pls I’ve had an issue for a while my C180 turbo engine seems to lose current from the fuel pump even after replacing and changing the relay, it has been scanned and they seem not to see anything. Pls any idea what could be the problem?

it starts then goes off immediately, and when it does not start and the fuel pump don’t bring light, even with a new fuel pump

I would have said that it is a fuel pump issue but with a new fuel pump and still doing thesame then probably the relay fuse is bad ...wait sef if you open the bonnet check wether it will start if you pour petrol in that outlet that is beside the engine..I dont kmow the name it is called,it looks like a hole covered with a perforated net,it if often located close to the Oil dip.stick

Changed relay same thing, they checked sometimes won’t supply fuel, they also checked starting sensor same issue, the electrician said he suspects flywheel

please who have idea of how much they sell SBC of mercedes E320 NOW.

But a scan is supposed to reveal something,one thing I have noticed about these Benz cars is, some times it may not directly give you the exact problem. But if you fixed that unrelated problem it may solve the main problem

hmmm this brake stuff dealt with me for sometimes around January, parked for a week b4 I could get a brake master to help fix it by repairing it and since then I don't worry about it just changing brake pads.

Benz w211 users with m112 engine, pls what's the serpentine belt number, is it 5pk 2400?

I have scan but it doesn’t give any code any idea what this might be.

There is something wrong with your PCM, Power Control Module. That is why the car is going off. I want to believe that your check engine light is on and also the ABS light?
If you can get someone to fix the PCM then that is fine but if not you may have to replace it.

Does the car vibrate when the AC is on?
Does it vibrate when the AC is on and you are stationary E.g Traffic stop?
Does it Vibrate when the AC is on and you are about hitting 100km/hr ?

Engine works silently no vibrations it’s just not peppy or agile as with the AC on infact you won’t notice but cos it my car I can tell if I off the AC on the same acceleration it moves more or faster.

Does your car still have a catalyst? If yes could it be that it is clogged?
There is load on that engine, also are you sure the AC compressor hasn't been changed to a wrong one?

Yes it does have a catalyst as I’m the one who imported the car directly and it doesn’t have engine light on. I have never change the AC compressor before.

benz E350 2011...I did a complete change of the gear box.

A total of 12 ltrs of star oil was used along with a new filter.

Upon completion of work by my mechanic...the car selects properly and smoothly.

However, during motion if I apply break or during return of the gears it makes a jerk and sometimes whenever I release d break n begin acceleration it makes little jerk as well..

Jerk sounds like (GBI).

But if am on top speed on an express road whenever the gear is returning or when I apply break it does not jerk.

The seller of the gear says it would normalize upon long distance or after sometime.

Please is this true?

Am thinking d tokunbo gear is suppose to work 100% properly from day 1 of replacement of the complete gear box

I wld appreciate ur urgent reply as am contemplating on returning the gear and get another one.

May I had that I got it scanned..no errors were detected...d dash board does not show any error too

Probably a the gear was worked on by the seller.

As the valves been checked,they may be weak..in fact that is what i am suspecting again now, it may go worse later

Valves haaa the engine has never been opened but no smoke no check engine light, no reading on Autel diagnostic, it’s responsive

I think at this point I give up o I don try
