My girlfriend parents refused me to marry their daughter because I didn't show up when they requested for me to come and see them. They claim that I'm not a serious person. Please how can I convince them since they won't allow me to come to the house? Please help me.

You're not buying the things to make them rich or broke but you're proving to them that you're capable to take care of their daughter.

My brother the only way to convince them now is to find someone in your girlfriend's family they respect to intervene on your behalf or else it's either you become the Forbes richest person in the world

It was work related my boss did not agree to release me than due to a project we were expecting than.

Well, you could have planned in advance and postponed the in-law meet.

Find a way to let your in-laws know why you did not turn up. Dedication to your employer and your boss shows you will be dedicated to their daughter, which you will show by your continuous grovelling till they cave in and marry you.

Like someone suggested above.. get someone in your girlfriend's family they respect and listen to.. talk to the person, they would help you talk to the parent.

Then afterwards go see them asap... you can then get elders in your family to also go talk with them.

In the end , you would find out they really don't have anything against you. Just want their daughter not to be involved with an unserious somebori..

This is really not a good advice. It's a crime as well.

Go with an elder (your dad or any elderly uncle) to see them. When you get there apologize for not being able to honour their previous invitation, tell them you had an impromptu meeting at the office.

Allow the elder do most of the talking after apologizing. You'll definitely come to some level ground unless they really don't want you to marry their daughter and are just using that as an excuse.

I know you fuzzck up for not showing up during the time her parents invited you but if really your girl loves you let's her do the underground work for you. She can still finish work for you inside doing underground jobs
