I still don't think it's a good point. I could ask the same question of you.
Zahra, Why are you not as passionate about Nigerian causes? Are you active on other threads that I do not know of?
A case of kettle calling pot black... grin

There’s actually more than 2 of them. I suspect that one of them just quoted you. 😂

Don’t be too sure about Biden losing yet, a lot can happen between now and November 4th.
The only thing certain of happening between now and November is that Biden's hallucination continues to get worse, while Trump steadily latches on it. Didn't you watch the debate?
No amount of the argument here would get Biden back into the white house.

I know but in 2020 he was not seen while Trump was holding rallies even with COVID killing thousands, Trump used all government resources but still lost.
The COVID pandemic was his undoing.

Today marks the 19th anniversary of the 07/07 2005 London attack, 4 coordinated suicide bombings across London's transport network that killed 52 people.

May their souls continue to RIP.

makazona:
Greetings my people.

I do not mean to spoil the post election analysis/mood in the house. But I need input in this matter.

A friend of mine drove to the driving test centre with his car (because he has been driving before his international licence expired and didn't know it was wrong to drive unaccompanied). The staff at the centre called the police and he has been charged with driving offences such as: "Driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence - endorsable offence" and " Using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance"( he was told his insurance was voided by such an act). The charge sounds serious.

Please help. He needs our advice on how to reply this plea.
If your friend didn't know he should be accompanied by someone that has at least 3yrs on a DL, then he isn't quite ready for the test.

There isn't any other plea than 'guilty'. He should beg for his majesty's leniency.

Did the test go ahead? The offence before the test is different from the substance of the test itself I would think.
How could the test have happened when they promptly called 'ekelebe'? grin

The instructor failed him at the spot before calling the police. The court summons has arrived. That's what we are trying to fill together. But it's not easy to defend.
His offence is an automatic fail bro... No need for any test.

A friend took his car (but was accompanied) for his test, and didn't have the little examiner's rear view mirror... It was a fail before he could even switch on the car.

Safe trip bros. Collect four mobile police when you land Naija abeg, based on VIP things grin
Hmmmm... He better be careful of the possibility of being kidnapped or even robbed by the police. I read recently of a case where four policemen were apprehended for kidnapping.

He should just pipe low and be utterly VIGILANT and CAREFUL!

I want to ask, my Startt date on my CoS is pass and I'm traveling a month after. Would that be an issue at the point of entry? My employers are aware of me coming later than the scheduled date

Knowledge cannot be wasted, even if not required at the moment.

I feel that guy wouldn't have had an issue if his Nigerian Driving License/International license was still valid, and he had it on him.

A lot of people read this thread silently, and it's important we pass the right information.
