Stella Mbachu is the kind of winger we lack right now, she does both attacking and defending the flanks very well… She loves running with the ball and her delivery are good as well. She’s that kind of winger that will push the ball forward, catch up with it and push again while watching out for runners into the box and you as a fullback defending against her you will tire out.. Cause she’s built to run run run.. A very very Athletic Winger..

When she’s running it look as if she’s not looking at the box with her face down whereas she’s seeing..

I didn't watch her much. That U20 final loss against Germany was my first time of watching Falcons.

Ah you miss. My first super falcons game ever was the olympics in 2004 where Nigeria beat Japan 1-0. Then we had both Mercy Akide, Perpetua Nkwocha, Stella Mbachu and Vera Okolo. Since then I’ve been glued.

Then we went on to beat Cameroon 5-0 in Afcon final in December that year to lift our 4th title and we did this without our best striker then Mercy Akide.

Tochukwu Oluehi as the prayer warrior is kinda surprising. I was expecting her to mention Rash.

Wow... Club football was my focus then. That final defeat against Germany was the game that fully ushered me into the female football.

And I must say that Chiamaka Nnadozie is easily the fatest person in the team (except maybe the other Goal Keeper Tochi Oluehi).
I understand that being in goal demands less mobility than being an outfield player. But mobility, strength and agility is everything when it comes to sharpness, performance and good reflexes.
Trust me I know. I've been working out at the gym (Calisthenics, Running, some weights) at least 3 days a week for almost 4 years now.
Nnadozie I use God beg you, start to diet and start to work on your mobility and agility more. You are so important to us and we need you performing for more time to come. smiley

You miss alot o.

Though that was a big change in the u20 category for Nigeria. Dem Dike and co, etc.

I always laugh when i realize the person that made me glued to Super Falcons as a primary school kid no longer watches any football -My mum! 😂
Days of Omagbemi and co. Then Rise of Akide. Then Vera and Stella, Ann and others. You missed o. Then, Sweden, USA were like the annoying rivals just like Argentina is for the men since time immemorial.

Mercy Akide USA 99
Mia Ham
The Chinese women team that’s probably the little I can remember

Within 5 years we’ve played USA & Canada a good number of times smiley
Canada recently beat Australia in a friendly

Curious to see how we’d fare against Brazil, Spain & Japan in days to come

2 days in between games is not gonna be easy
Olympics committee should’ve just made it 23 teams

Ayinde will be missed
Won’t be surprised if team B is used for this friendly against Canada
I don’t even care if we lose
So long the coach experiments with the different formulas he plans to use in the tournament

I watched this match. Very boring.

The USA girls dey attack, but finishing na their problem. The Costa Rican goalie tried tho, she's good.
