Dele Momodu is just so shameless. His desperation for power through an Atiku presidency has actually made him throw all cautions to the wind to keep attacking people unnecessarily and lying shamelessly.

Must everybody oppose the president? Is it a crime to support the reforms Mr. President is pushing? Did Atiku and Obi not promise to remove subsidy and float the exchange rate? Why are these guys intentionally heating up the polity? Political gains?

Even among thieves, there should be honor. Opposition doesn’t mean madness. We are all stakeholders in Nigeria and we shouldn’t allow charlatans like Dele Momodu to lead the narrative. Sensible and reasonable Nigerians must counter their lies and false narrative at all times.
Momodu
His attitude is similar to Obidients

Okupe has said it all
That you are not a Tinubu supporter does not mean he must be your enemy or you must be opposition
Tinubu is president of our country and we mush wish our country well
There are those who feel if Atiku or Obi is not in charge the country must burn

Dele is the Agbaya here. Okupe’s response to him was very matured without any name calling. Dele Momodu needs to calm down. He’s not the first person to be Atiku’s errand boy and won’t be the last. Fighting people unnecessary won’t get him political appointment.
I don't see any matured response here unless you view his point with your empty coconut head, he's a definition of anywhere belle face

You spoke my mind. A man that follows Governor Adeleke of Osun State to almost every event and that always appears in almost all videos where Governor Adeleke & Davudo are served food should actually know he lives in a glass house and be reluctant to throw stones.

He is so embittered at being on the outside of the political perimeter in Nigeria that he can’t take it anymore.

To criticise the President is one thing but to deify a Governor who dances rather than govern, is sacrilege.

DELE MOMODU has finally met his match in RENO OMOKRI and only God can help him receiver from the damage RENO has done to his reputation (as a DISHONEST, OVERWEIGHT & LAZY GOVERNOR ADELEKE PRAISE-SINGER).

You increased petrol from 165 naira to 700 naira and you think prayers will produce money from sky for people to use it to buy petrol.

Millions of people have been pushed into poverty by the 'wonderful' policies of Tinubulation.

Tinubu reduced the value of our money by devaluation. That 1 million in your account in May 2023 is now worth less than 400,000 naira.

She didn't even know Nigeria. I've had Twitter interactions with these people a decade ago when I was trying to involve myself in bettering this country. I've long ago withdrawn, having satisfied myself that it's all a business -- none actually works to better the country. And that's why they are glad I withdrew

If they say they will remove subsidy, is it in the same way Tinubu did without any measure to deal with the consequences
kedeojo:
Dele momodu is from Edo north. This are the Lagos boys we detest. Don't be surprised one day, if any of his crock friend became governor then he will know the road to Edo state. No impact to the state. Criticize constructively. All the major candidates agreed to end subsidy immediately and float the naira too. If Atiku have won, he would have been named a minister from Edo state and he is not know to have contributed to the state in any capacity, just like Obaseki and Asue before venturing in politics. Obaseki does not have his own personal residence. He rented the one he currently stay in Ikpokpan axis of GRA. Asue also that have a personal residence too. This are among the many reasons, we don't need Lagos boys again as governors. They are opportunist.

This is where uncle Doyin Okupe missed it. How would you say you love policies that have dipped the citizens of the country into avoidable poverty? That's grass wickedness of the highest order. Uncle Doyin Okupe you're only playing to the gallery and double standard. Any policy made that later turned the people the policy was made to as beggars, such policy need to be revisited by any reasonable leader.
The two policies are not citizens' friendly, it has turned the economy to excruciating one and the people are living on the mercies of the higher being.
Besides, uncle Dele Momodu not only mentioned those two policies, he also mentioned frivolous spending of the government. May be Uncle Doyin Okupe didn't read those paragraphs. If uncle Doyin Okupe can praise President Tinubu for policies harming the citizens but hide his face to monumental and frivolous spending of the government.

I don't know if uncle Doyin Okupe is here or his close ally. I will quickl list the frivolous spending of this government that any reasonable citizen should have condemned in their praise journey.

a. Building VP residence with ₦30b when the same gesture was once extended to the former occupant of the same office, Osinbajo and he rejected it because of the economy situation then, which was not worse like this.
b. Renovation of the National Assembly with ₦15b in an excruciating economy like this, when the same National Assembly was not long renovated.
c. Travelling to Ethiopia with 1b naira.
d. Buying cars and bullet proof tyres with ₦3.7b in 10 days.
d. Planning to buy new aircraft while still maintaining 6 aircrafts and 4 jets in his fleet.
e. Spending of ₦90b for hajj operation in an excruciating economy.
All these calls for concern but we never heard anything from uncle Doyin Okupe.
You cannot say you love Nigeria and always hide your face on issues that project it for downfall.

Pot calling kettle. Dele’s entire existence has been built on sycophancy. Jumping from one sponsor to another like a well trained runs girl.

His circle were fellow gigolos until age took him out of the game.

He needs to rest and build something more than a social media career as his legacy. All three are a disgrace to journalism

I remember that both said they will remove subsidy but it was only Peter Obi that explained what he will do to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal. Tinubu only said he is going to remove the subsidy, even if the people protest till tomorrow. I heard him plain.
Obi said, he is going to remove subsidy but the will kill the corrupt in NNPC, because he knows it was not the barrel of liter declared that the country consume per day. He said, he will empower modular refineries by proper legislation. He said, if the corruption in NNPC is killed, that will substantially reduced the sharp practice in the pricing of the fuel. He said, he will revamp the moribund refineries to work. But the rest never explained to what they will do if they remove subsidy.
Mr. Man, when we were shouting let Tinubu come out for interview, many of you said it doesn't need and it doesn't matter but he goes to rally and stand at the podium with gyration to announce that he will remove subsidy and no one question him or ho he will do it. I think next time you people will allow him to attend interview for proper questioning of his policies. When Peter Obi was engaging in different interviews, you guys were abusing him that he likes camera too much but the effects are now glaring today.

My dear Dele, it was nice to see you again at chief Osoba's 80th birthday, just as it is to read your comments about my rejoinder to Reno's response to your condemnation of this administration.

Frankly speaking and putting sentiments apart, Reno's response to your article was a masterpiece in terms of facts assembled therein. I am always in awe of that young man's ability to research and succinctly put together his narratives. You may hate Reno, or be angry with him for his opinions but his facts are unassailable.

With me also I am surprised u also did not stay with the facts. U retorted that I hv advised and praised every govt since 1999. That is not true. I only acted as adviser in the Obj's administration , which remains one of the most successful since the advent of the 4th Republic. I did not play any significant role in the Yaradua's administration that succeeded Obj's.

I became an adviser for the second time in the Jonathan administration which was defeated by the Gen Buhari led APC. Jonathan's defeat was not because of any societal hardship or economic issues. Jonathan's administration led Nigeria to an economically prosperous Nation, taking our GDP to $500B, and an unprecedented number 1 position in Africa. Why Jonathan was "defeated" is another matter entirely which may not be known to u because of your remoteness to the inner core of political power play at that time. This will be a topic for another day.

My associations with Bukola Saraki and Peter Obi is in no way different from your current association with HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. All three were presidential aspirants or candidates of different parties at different times. Making any issues out of this is nothing but crass mischief. I am neither a member of the APC nor an adviser of the administration. I appreciate the bold initiatives President Bola Tinubu took to remove fuel subsidy, which was assented to by ALL candidates during the campaign. I also fully support the sectoral equalization of our forex market. Both reforms are responsible for the hardship our people are currently experiencing , but which I believe will be temporary judging by the strenuous efforts the govt is making towards ameliorating them. This not praise singing.

I do not count myself as a member of the opposition, hence I am able to be objective and understandingly supportive. I may not have had a hand in installing this govt but it is my country and I am a stakeholder in it. I do not pray for it to crash or go down. This cannot be an offense. We all are practitioners, players and known actors in this Amphitheater, no need to go personal. Let's keep criticisms rational, mature and professional.

Finally Dele let me publicly acknowledge and appreciate your generosity in granting me that much appreciated debt forgiveness of $20k. I could not afford it! But truly then, I never imagined we could lose that election. However, man proposes but God Almighty.

My dear Aburo, who I love and adore so much, I wish you well. God bless.

As there been a time that Nigerians been subjected to such wanton economy reality that have taken over the entirely life savings of the people, that a salary of a civil servant would not be able to buy a bag of rice. Are you aware today, a bag of semovita is ₦15,000. A bag of rice is ₦78,000. A bag of beans is ₦200k plus. Now, tell yourself was it how it was when I was in primary school, depending on your sha? As at today a tuber of yam is between ₦4k to ₦6k in the same obodo Naija where once upon a time a 120 tubers of yam, called ofa were sold less than ₦15k. Now you buy less than 5 for that price today. Comparing the groaning of the yester years to today is unwise of you.
