No disrespect to Gerrard or Lampard but Paul Scholes is simply the greatest midfielder in Premier League history and one of the all time greats.

Amass is not ready to start regular games for us. Some fans are already crucifying him on some forums for mistakes made in preseason. Imagine how they will attack him if he costs us points in the league.

He is ready in terms of possession, midfield play, attacking play. He however still switches off defensively and sometimes gets caught ball watching.
He has still not got used to the idea that those careless mistakes and loss of concentration that go unpunished in the Under-18s will be punished at the senior level.

TBH, Ten Hag didn’t say he was injured. In his own words, he said he was a “question mark” , like Lindelof and Maguire, who have hardly featured since ETH came here, have fallen short of expectation, and still freaking remain at the club!

INEOS, what is your problem? Are you Glazer 2.0?! We have a major problem in midfield and left back but we are not signing players for that position! It’s glaring ETH doesn’t have the capacity to identify talent and build a squad, and the time for him to go is drawing nearer and should anything go wrong at the start of the season he must be sacked with no hesitation.

Sorry it’s a touchy subject.

Me too, the situation is frustrating. INEOS is also trying to stop that stupid United tax. So far they want to buy players on their terms not just the selling club's terms.

They've refused to bulge on Ugarte's stated fee, De Ligt and Mazraoui also. We need a little patience all round but I hope ETH won't serve us the rubbish football he served us last year.
