My mom lost her elder brother in that war. He was coming from school on that day and they forced him to join the south east soldiers to defend the Igbo land from the invasion of this old idiots begging for pension and that was the end of him, he never came back from the war.. so I was told.

About 2 million Igbo children lost their lives in the hands of this old fools .

We've forgiven them, but we will never forget.

My MOM is Igbo and my DAD is Yoruba. To those of you calling me out to question which tribe that I belong.

I am an igbo but I don't see any need for this cause everyone are expected to take side with his or her own divide during war. The war Lords knows their war objectives but the field soldiers must not know or support their masters objectives before taking part in such war. There were very few soldiers in the Midwest majority of them being Midwest igbos they visited ojukwu in Enugu and agreed to let biafrans pass through Midwest to Lagos they never fought biafra soldiers, ojukwu instructed banjo to move swiftly and reach Lagos in 24 hours banjo entered Midwest and didn't want to move forward he stayed in Midwest for 1 week giving Gowon time to recruit new soldiers and send them to Midwest which Gowon did after 1 week, majority of the soldiers who engaged biafrans at ore were from the 500 personal guards Gowon had in Lagos majority of them were Tiv and his tribes men from plateau
