Nice, exciting game. I just hope someone is working on Oyono's diving that caused issues years ago with Falconets.

I dream of a day Usani and Onyenezide play side by side with Idoko for Falcons. Talents!!

Idoko might be ready right now with the season she just had in Portugal.

Years ago cheesy u guys kept complaining about that girl but it ended up being Demehin who cost us the game against Netherlands. She was at fault for both goals.

So far in this tournament we don't know anything about Oyono's diving since Edo has not given away chances. Hopefully she steps up when called upon.

I recall we called out everyone's error but before that loss, we've been noticing her being lazy to dive to make saves. She and Omilana sabi gather ball(they still are experts at it. It's obvious in the highlights clip).

But that diving to make saves was too obvious for both that year and during the Ghana tourney as well(Omilana)

They need to thoroughly work on that cos time has really passed to not be any noticeable improvement on that aspect till now. That's why i asked.

Demehin is still error prone and nobody is ignoring that. But these 2 goalies, they need to improve if they haven't cos we all know soon, na Falcons invite go start and we don't need them to start such basic detail in the senior team.

Monle's issue was not diving. She was just generally shakey at times.

As for Faith Omilana u just reminded me something. The same goal u complained about at the African Games was scored on Chiamaka by Brazil at the Olympics. I didn't see u guys complaining about diving then.

Without Faith Omilana we don't finish 3rd at the U17 world cup. Add that to helping her club to the Federation Cup final this season. I think she has done enough to earn our trust.

We are talking of what is not an attribute despite the years in active football. Forget the "we didn't complain" part cos as far as we are watching, it will be raised. We even complained about Chiamaka weight. Nobody is doing favouritism here. We did complain @ bolded. grin

Fine, you noticed she was shaky. I noticed both were lazy at diving. 3years is enough time to have upgraded all these lapses. If they haven't, then wahala dey. Till then, goodluck to them. But with Falcons in sight, we need that attribute

Like I said I didn't see it but it's all good if u say u did.

Monle made some good saves at the World Cup. I feel people were too hard on her.

Deborah Abiodun
Oluwatosin Demehin
Esther Onyenezide
Flourish Sabastine
Rofiat Imuran

A good number too from the U17 2022 Squad

Great move for Kenya's Midfielder/Attacker Mwanalima Jereko

Mwanalima Adam Jereko (born 4 September 1997) 27yrs moves to Kansas City, after a very good spell at Hakkarigücü 10 goals in 2023-24 the two hattricks late in the season, bit behind Marie Ngah Manga who scored 20 goals and was TopScorer for Hakkarigücü last season..
