Truth is, the pass was behind Garnacho and terrible. Rashford should have done better with the pass. You either pass it early for Garnacho to run onto and hit or go yourself.

Garnacho played on the right yesterday.

And he does not struggle on the left. That is where he has played all his life, right from academy and including his first senior season with us in which he was lauded for his performances as a super sub.

The difference is that he is more unselfish and makes better decisions on the right, since the option to cut in and shoot (which he and Rashy like to do on the left) is not there.

Greenwood is a generational talent. None of our attackers measure up to him in terms of goal sense, goal technique, and finishing. If we had him on the pitch yesterday Fulham would drink loads of goals.

The way Rashford gave that pass, you’d think he was going for a 1-2. Garnacho had to quickly adjust his body shape in time to connect with the ball- with his weaker foot.
