Jesus tells you that as a man, it is impossible to attain salvation but with God salvation is possible. Does that not make Sense to you?
Now let's put all the information together. Your good works can't save you. Only God's grace can but God gives his grace to those who work and make effort.

The first salvation which is of mercy is meant to lift YHWH's curse which He placed on all those born of the blood of Jacob beginning about 1900 years ago — the Last days; this curse is referred to as the condemnation of sin aka Death. This is the salvation Jesus Christ talked about in John 3 vs 1 -21. The second salvation is needed to then gain Heaven itself and again, only those who gain the first can gain the second. This salvation comes to those who, upon gaining the first continue on in continuous submission and obedience to God's Law(abide in Jesus Christ) and this can be found discussed in John 14,!14 and 16. . It is those who gain the second salvation that are described as the wise Virginia in Matthew 25 vs 1 -13, those who do works of righteousness in turn receive Heaven as reward - Matthew 25 vs 31 -46.

Meanwhile for the sake of other Muslims and non-Christians who want to learn. God spoke through many people for many centuries in the Bible, before and after our God Jesus Christ. Bro, the problem you are having is that you don't understand that the teachings of Jesus Christ apostles are an extension of his teachings.
So it doesn't matter if it comes from the mouth of Paul or Peter, it's same as from the mouth of Christ.
