This sounds agenda driven.

Amad with an off day after losing a family member: He is not that guy.
Garnacho with the miss of the season in one game while repeatedly losing the ball in dangerous positions: Hard luck.

Whether Amad is the guy or not won't be determined by one single game, especially not one that took place after losing a family member.
Lol it's not agenda driven. From the 2 games so far, he's been largely contained by opponents. The quality is there but somehow, he's not showing it to the level we're really expecting. He's more talented than Garnacho but the South American has more x factor than him and more likely to decide a game.

That's my observation anyway.

New Manager, same old reliable personnel. Might be early days but it's much easier to benefit from a prior working system. Let's see what they'd bring to OT.

I get the part about the X-factor that Garnacho has but Amad has to be given the time to develop as well. It should not be an either-or issue with them. Man City has always had depth in quality which is why they maintain high levels. We need a large group of very good players playing in a well-structured system, not a single player that is "that guy".

Also, if anyone here remembers the first few months of Vidic and Evra in the club (especially Vidic), nobody could have guessed they would both go down as great players for the club. I used to be doubtful about Amad as well, but he has the baseline technical ability needed to play for a club like United, and i have noticed that he has recently become stronger and faster. Those are the basic qualities on which he can now develop his game.

We and City both have 5 big chances created. Chelesa have 3 big chances created and have scored 6 goals.
To score is like rocket science for our own fowards

I dont know how Ole had these fools scoring goals
I dey tell you bro, it needs to be studied. I could remember the 9 nil hammering of the saints and there are many matches that was won scoring 5 goals or more. We were 3rd on the log in his first full season, 2nd in the following season but the guyman get bad luck.

Could not have been put any better
While some of our forwards are probably irredeemable, the talented ones that we all rate are not there yet
At this rate , the size of man utd as a big club and the impatience of the fans should be included in any study of why rebuilding has been difficult

This guy feels he's part of the board of directors.

The fans job is not to be patient.

Their main job, apart from supporting financially (which united fans have been doing) is to mount pressure on the club to deliver.

You can forget about any gradual build up of system and style of play and shout Ten Hag out whenever you don't see beautiful football with great results every match. And let's see what that does for you. Cuz I don't understand anymore.

We all saw how the first 2 seasons were. Anyone without any agenda will agree this is the season to start building things up. Everything's in place now. So all these '3rd year' talk dey muzz me.
Since it is his 3rd season, we must play better than teams that have been settled for years, and must win the league too

Fair analysis, I just know he can do much more than he's currently showing. We need him to.

Ole was doing well as Manchester united manager even finishing 2nd/3rd on premier log before Ronaldo was signed.

Those who are saying we keep the ball better are not looking at the area of the pitch where we keep the ball. Passing the ball between Onana, Maguire, Dalot, Martinez and Mazraoui might increase your possession stats but it points to nothing.

We should be able to keep the ball much higher up the pitch. Our midfielders have fewer touches of the ball compared to their peers in other top teams and this for me remains a concern. As a team, we still can't create passing triangles that gives the man on the ball at least 2-3 passing options and that is why we lose the ball in most cases when we go forward. This is partly down to the tactics and set up. We can't depend on fast breaks or attempt fast breaks always, we are a big team and should be able to keep the ball sometimes and tire out the opposition.

EtH should start Zirkzee against Liverpool, Bruno as a false 9 is an experiment that is destined to fail. Also, Rashford has to be benched else we will struggle to make top 6. Spurs and Aston Villa don't look like pushover to me and Chelsea have a good team in there so if they find their mojo, then we will be up against it because I haven't seen anything to suggest we can best Villa, Spurs and Chelsea for that 4th spot.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m):
We are not even better than Liverpool at breaking fast, but Liverpool does not attempt it all the time; they know when to keep the ball, build from the back, go long or hit teams on the counter.

All the best to him. If he keeps his temperament under check, he can be a world beater.

On the first day of training when he got there, he nutmegged the captain and started mocking him. Things went downhill fast from there and the squad shunned him.
